49ers might be in trouble, and what we learned in Sunday's Week 5 slate
Tyler Goodson - Tallies 86 all-purpose yards Goodson rushed five times for 26 yards and brought in all three targets for 31 yards in the Colts' 37-34 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 29 yards.
Impact Goodson saw extended action as part of the domino effect of Jonathan Taylor's (ankle) absence, with the former checking in as the change-of-pace option to lead back Trey Sermon. Goodson was efficient with his limited opportunities after checking into the game with only one touch from scrimmage this season, but he'd likely slide back into fantasy irrelevance if Taylor is able to return for a Week 6 road matchup against the Titans.

Alec Pierce - Team-high yardage tally in loss Pierce secured all three targets for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 37-34 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Impact Pierce put together a signature stat line, one that was almost identical to the three-catch, 125-yard, one-touchdown effort he kicked his season off with against the Texans. The third-year pro came to life late in the contest, recording 24- and 46-yard grabs on a quick three-play drive in the latter portion of the fourth quarter, with the latter catch initially ruled a touchdown before being overturned via replay. However, Pierce made up for it on the next possession, hauling in a 65-yard touchdown grab down the left side of the field with under three minutes remaining. Pierce's production is certainly difficult to trust week to week, but considering he's now achieved 100-yard performances with both Anthony Richardson (hip/oblique) and Joe Flacco as his quarterback, he remains a weekly consideration in deeper leagues and in DFS contests.

Will Fries - Suffers fracture Fries will have surgery Sunday to repair a fractured tibia suffered in the team's Week 5 loss to the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Fries was carted off the field Sunday after suffering the injury and will have to stay in Jacksonville for the surgery. The Penn State product is clearly looking at a mult-week absence and likely an IR stint, although it's not yet clear if he may be done for the season. Dalton Tucker will likely be the Panthers' starter at right guard for the next several weeks.

Impact Flacco led the Colts to a modest 10 points in the first half, although he did connect for his first touchdown toss of the day during that span via a one-yard connection with Michael Pittman in the first quarter. The veteran signal-caller heated up in the second half, however, hitting Mo Alie-Cox and Alec Pierce for scoring strikes of 18 and 65 yards, respectively, and just narrowly missing another TD to each on an overthrow to the tight end and a play in which the speedy wideout was ruled down by contact at the one-yard line following a 46-yard gain. Flacco recorded completions to nine different targets overall, but his otherwise standout afternoon was partly marred by taking a sack with 12 seconds remaining and no timeouts.
