Impact Mitchell played on just 14 of the offense's 62 snaps operating as the No. 4 receiver but was second on the team in targets. He's developed a rapport with Anthony Richardson on deep passes, but may not get many targets unless the Colts are playing from far behind.

Josh Downs - Just one reception in win Downs had just one reception for three yards on three targets in Sunday's win over Miami.
Impact Anthony Richardson struggled in the passing game by going 10-of-24 for just 129 yards leaving little production for Downs and the Indy wideouts. Downs had 16 receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown the prior two weeks with Joe Flacco at quarterback, but has had little production with Richardson under center. Downs had just three receptions for 22 yards Week 3 against Chicago in Richardson's other full start with Downs also healthy. Downs looks like a risky fantasy option with Richardson as the starter as a result.

Alec Pierce - Two receptions in win Pierce had two receptions for 15 yards on five targets in Sunday's win over Miami.
Impact It was a bounceback performance after he didn't have a catch or target in a Week 6 win at Tennessee. However, he could have had a better game if not for a drop on a wide open, easy target. Pierce remains one of Anthony Richardson's favorite targets, but is going to be a boom-or-bust option for fantasy purposes each week as is he's mostly a deep threat in the offense.

DeForest Buckner - Close to return to practice Coach Shane Steichen said Monday that he was "optimistic" about Buckner (ankle) returning to practice ahead of Week 8, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Buckner has been sidelined for the Colts' last five games as he's been nursing an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2 at Green Bay, but it now seems like he could be trending towards coming back soon. Indianapolis' first official practice report of the week Wednesday will provide more insight into his availability for Week 8.

Impact Taylor hasn't practiced in any capacity since suffering a right high-ankle sprain that's forced him to sit out Indianapolis' last three games, so it would represent significant progress to see him handling even limited reps when the team gets back on the practice field Wednesday. Trey Sermon has averaged just 2.9 YPC with Taylor sidelined the last three weeks, though Tyler Goodson has managed more competent production and scored his first career touchdown Week 7 against Miami. The extent of Taylor's practice activity will need to be closely monitored, but his return would provide the Colts a much-needed boost against Houston if he's able to play.

Michael Pittman Jr. - Productive on low volume Pittman caught three of five targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Dolphins.
Impact As expected. Pittman didn't see significant target volume with Anthony Richardson back under center for the Colts, but the wideout was able to make an impact with a 33-yard grab just before halftime and a 21-yard catch in the fourth quarter that each helped set up field goals. Pittman put together a 14-185-2 line on 22 targets over three games with Joe Flacco at the helm of the offense, but if he continues to show increased chemistry with Richardson on deep balls, he might be able to maintain that level of production.

Impact The second-year quarterback had another poor statistical performance in his first game action since suffering an oblique strain in Week 4, but there were some glimmers of hope. Richardson looked more comfortable throwing the ball in the second half as he led Indianapolis to 13 straight points, and coach Steve Steichen was more willing to call designed runs for the mobile QB -- his 14 carries were a season high. and his 56 yards led the team while tying his season high. Impact Carlies left Sunday's game with what was initially reported as a calf injury. However, he has now been diagnosed with an ankle injury after being checked on by trainers, and the injury is severe enough for him to be ruled out for the rest of the contest. Grant Stuard and Liam Anderson will get snaps with the first-team offense for the rest of Sunday's contest.

Impact Pierce missed practice Thursday due to the shoulder issue, and despite taking a questionable tag into the weekend, he cleared up most of the concern about his health by turning in a full practice Friday. He'll be available Sunday along with fellow wideouts Michael Pittman (back) and Josh Downs (toe) -- who were also listed as questionable -- with Pierce likely to serve as a downfield threat for strong-armed quarterback Anthony Richardson. With 368 receiving yards and three touchdowns through six games, Pierce has fared well with both Richardson and Joe Flacco under center, but he's achieved his production on a likely unsustainable 17.5 yards per target. With steady involvement in the passing game not guaranteed, Pierce profiles as a boom-or-bust fantasy option, with his weekly utility likely hinging on him finding the end zone or making a huge play downfield.
