INJURIES

Alec Pierce - Not practicing Thursday Pierce (foot) didn't participate in practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Pierce was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so his absence from Thursday's session puts the focus on what he's able to do Friday in terms of his chances of playing Sunday against the Patriots. With Josh Downs (shoulder) also having logged consecutive 'DNPs,' Michael Pittman and Adonai Mitchell are currently the Colts' top healthy wideout options.
NOVEMBER 28, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Ashton Dulin - Not practicing again Dulin (ankle) did not participate in practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact Wednesday's session was just a walkthrough but Thursday's was a regular practice. Dulin exited last Sunday's loss to the Lions with the injury. Now, he'll likely need to get in some sort of work Friday to have a chance to play this Sunday against the Patriots.
NOVEMBER 28, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Bernhard Raimann - Limited in Wednesday's walkthrough Raimann (knee) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough.
Impact Raimann has missed the Colts' last two games due to a knee injury he sustained in Week 10 against the Bills. His limited action in Wednesday's walkthrough was his first time participating in a practice since the injury, and if he's able to practice over the next two days, he should have a chance at reclaiming his starting spot at left tackle against the Patriots on Sunday.

Patriots vs. Colts Injury Report – Week 13, 2024
Josh Downs - Estimated as non-practice participant Downs (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
Impact Earlier Wednesday, head coach Shane Steichen acknowledged that it will be "tough" for Downs to play Sunday against the Patriots, but at this stage the Colts aren't ruling him out for the contest, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. If Downs is inactive this weekend, Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce (foot) -- if available -- and Adonai Mitchell would be in line to lead the Colts' Week 13 wideout corps.
NOVEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Alec Pierce - Estimated as DNP on Wednesday Pierce (foot) was listed as DNP on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Impact The foot issue is new for Pierce, and it's especially notable with Josh Downs (shoulder) and Ashton Dulin (ankle) also listed as DNP on Wednesday's estimation. If none of the three were cleared to play Sunday against New England, Michael Pittman and Adonai Mitchell would be in line for heavy wide receiver usage.

Jets running back Breece Hall dealing with a knee issue, left tackle Tyron Smith could go on IR

New York Jets running back Breece Hall sat out practice Wednesday with an injured knee and it’s uncertain if he’ll play Sunday against Seattle

Ashton Dulin - Not practicing Wednesday Dulin (ankle) did not participate at the Colts' walkthrough practice Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Impact Dulin was forced out of Sunday's game versus the Lions early by an ankle injury, and now his availability for Week 13 is in jeopardy. He'll probably have to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to play at New England.

Aaron Rodgers' next team? Can Chiefs keep this up? What's wrong with C.J. Stroud?

Aaron Rodgers' next team? Can Chiefs keep this up? What's wrong with C.J. Stroud?
Kylen Granson - Held catchless against Lions Granson failed to catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Granson was a complete non-factor in the contest, failing to record a single reception for the sixth time in 12 games. The veteran tight end did, however, lead all Indianapolis tight ends in playing time, as he was on the field for 35 of the Colts' 55 offensive snaps Sunday. Meanwhile, fellow tight ends Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox played 30 and 23 snaps, respectively. Despite operating as the Colts' No. 1 tight end, Granson should not be trusted for fantasy purposes in a Week 13 matchup against the Patriots.
NOVEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Mo Alie-Cox - Not targeted in Week 12 Alie-Cox failed to record a single target in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Alie-Cox played 42 percent of the Colts' offensive snaps, but the 31-year-old was not targeted by quarterback Anthony Richardson. The veteran tight end has now been held without a catch in 8 of 12 games this season, providing little to no fantasy utility most weeks. Alie-Cox remains off the fantasy radar as the Colts are set to visit the Patriots in Week 13.
NOVEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Adonai Mitchell - One catch in loss Mitchell caught one of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Mitchell continued to operate as the Colts' No. 4 wide receiver, playing just 12 of 55 offensive snaps in the contest. The rookie wideout is simply not seeing enough volume in to sustain fantasy relevance on a consistent basis. Mitchell has recorded just 20 receptions for 254 yards through his first 12 games and has failed to find the end zone so far this season. The 22-year-old Texas product will be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Patriots.
NOVEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Zaire Franklin - Continues to pace league in tackles Franklin recorded 13 tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact The seventh-year pro leads the league in tackles with 123 (64 solo). Franklin, a seventh-round pick in 2018, has now recorded three consecutive 100-plus tackle seasons. He has also yet to miss a defensive snap in 12 games this season.
NOVEMBER 26, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
DeForest Buckner - Records sack in loss Buckner finished with seven tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact The defensive tackle has now recorded at least 1.0 sacks in four of the seven games he's played in this season. Buckner has also played on at least 60 percent of the defensive snaps in every game since returning from an ankle injury in late October.
NOVEMBER 26, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
E.J. Speed - Another double-digit tackle game Speed finished with 11 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Speed has now recorded double-digit stops in seven of the 11 games he's played in this season. He has also played on more than 90 percent of the defensive snaps in all 11 contests. In total, the linebacker has 108 tackles (72 solo) and three pass breakups, including an interception, in 2024.
NOVEMBER 26, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Cross - Makes 14 tackles Cross recorded 14 tackles (six solo), including two for a loss, in Sunday's 24-6 defeat to the Lions.
Impact The safety has played on nearly every defensive snap this season and is second only to his teammate, Zaire Franklin, in the NFL in tackles with 116 (Franklin has 123). Cross also has three pass breakups, including two interceptions, and a forced fumble.

Colts defense picks up the pace as offense continues searching for answers to red zone woes

The Indianapolis Colts defense started this season struggling
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • Associated Press
Tanor Bortolini - Dealing with concussion Bortoloni is in concussion protocol following the Colts' Week 12 loss to the Lions, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact The rookie offensive lineman from Wisconsin has been starting in place of the injured Ryan Kelly (knee), but he developed symptoms of a concussion overnight after Sunday's loss to the Lions. If Bortolini and Kelly are unavailable for the Colts' Week 13 matchup against the Patriots, Danny Pinter is expected to get the nod at center.

NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • Associated Press
Josh Downs - Week-to-week with shoulder injury Downs is considered week-to-week after suffering a right shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact While the Colts haven't yet provided an official update on Downs' status, Rapoport relays that the wideout is considered a "longshot" to play Week 13 against the Patriots. Downs appeared to be in significant pain after his right shoulder was driven into the turf by a defender following his third reception of Sunday's game with 11:22 remaining in the fourth quarter, but he was able to check back into the contest for the Colts' final possession. Despite being able to return, Downs' shoulder injury was evidently more serious than expected after he underwent further evaluation following the game. Assuming Downs ends up sitting out against New England, Adonai Mitchell would likely be the top candidate to move into a regular role in three-receiver sets alongside Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Trey Sermon - Limited opportunity in loss Sermon saw just two snaps on offense and five on special teams in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Sermon rarely saw the field as Jonathan Taylor played 96 percent of the Colts' offensive snaps, leaving little to no opportunities for the rest of the team's backfield. It was the first time since Week 1 that Sermon didn't get at least a target or carry.
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Downs - Held to three catches in Week 12 loss Downs (shoulder) finished with three receptions for 27 yards on seven targets while playing 29 of the Colts' 55 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Downs recorded a pair of catches on the Colts' first four plays of the game, but he was mostly held quiet for the rest of the day. He didn't notch his third and final reception until the 11:22 mark in the fourth quarter, when he also hurt his right shoulder on the play in question. Downs returned to the contest for the Colts' final possession, so he looks to have avoided a serious injury. That said, it wouldn't be surprising if Downs appeared on the Colts' Week 13 injury report prior to a matchup with the Patriots next Sunday.
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Goodson - Not involved on offense Sunday Goodson did not play any offensive snaps but returned a kickoff for 25 yards during Sunday's 24-6 loss versus the Lions.
Impact On a day where Indianapolis logged just 49 offensive snaps total, there weren't any chances for Goodson to contribute in that phase. Barring an injury to Jonathan Taylor or Trey Sermon, it's hard to imagine Goodson carving out any fantasy value this season.
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Goodson - No snaps on offense Goodson played 14 snaps on special teams and had 25 return yards and a tackle in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions.
Impact Goodson didn't see the field on offense for the first time this season, but he did have an impact on special teams. He'll likely need an injury in the backfield to see any noticeable work on offense.
