Scores in two-minute drills
Bryant caught a 39-yard pass from Case Keenum during Cleveland's two-minute drill practice session Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Impact
Cleveland's second-team offense had a banner day against the first-team defense in the two-minute drills, largely due to their tight ends. Bryant, who had multiple touchdown catches during the entire practice session, caught his two-minute drill TD on a post route, then David Njoku leapt for a one-yard touchdown grab on a fade route. It was a look into the riches the Browns have at tight end, as both Bryant and Njoku are behind starter Austin Hooper.

Quiet in playoffs
Bryant had one target over 13 snaps in Sunday's 22-17 playoff loss to the Chiefs.
Impact
Bryant had zero catches and one target over Cleveland's two playoff games. The rookie shared a role with veteran David Njoku all season behind starter Austin Hooper, but Bryant had much less usage than Njoku (30 snaps) in the loss. He finished the regular season with more targets (38), catches (24), yards (238) and touchdowns (three) than Njoku (29-19-213-2), but both players were firmly behind Hooper. All three tight ends are under contract in 2021; however, there's not much space for Bryant to grow his 2020 output.

Untargeted in return
Bryant was not targeted in Sunday's 48-37 wild-card win over Pittsburgh.
Impact
Bryant returned to action for the playoffs after missing the regular-season finale while on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The rookie played 22 snaps, one more than fellow backup David Njoku, but both players paled in comparison to Austin Hooper, who had a team-high 11 targets over 60 snaps. The Browns move to the AFC divisional round next Sunday to play the Chiefs, whose defense ranked 28th in yards allowed to opposing tight ends (59.6 YPG).

Activated off COVID list
Bryant was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.
Impact
The Browns got back a number of players ahead of their Sunday playoff game against the Steelers, including the 2020 fourth-round pick. Bryant has picked up a decent amount of playing time as the No. 2 tight end behind Austin Hooper throughout the season but it hasn't translated into a ton of production. In his lone contest against the Steelers in Week 6, Bryant played just 37 percent of the offensive snaps and caught one of his two targets for 11 yards.

Out Week 17 after positive test
Bryant won't be available for Sunday's game against the Steelers after testing positive for COVID-19, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact
Cleveland had already moved Bryant to the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after the tight end was deemed to be a close contact of an infected person or persons. Upon undergoing additional testing while in isolation the past couple of days, Bryant was determined to have contracted the virus. He'll thus remain away from the team for the regular-season finale, though Bryant could have a chance to gain clearance for a potential wild-card playoff game, should the Browns earn a postseason berth. Cleveland will proceed with David Njoku and Stephen Carlson as its depth options at tight end behind Austin Hooper in Week 17.

Impact
Bryant was placed on the COVID-19 list Tuesday, joining wide receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge and Donovan Peoples-Jones. All five players are deemed close contacts and will be eligible to play in this week's season finale against Pittsburgh, assuming they continue to test negative. The wideouts can return as early as Thursday, while Saturday is the earliest Bryant can come off the list. The Browns can clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Steelers.

Shifts to COVID-19 list
Bryant was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
Impact
Bryant either contracted the virus or came into close contact with someone who did. If he's merely a close contact, he'll be eligible to play in the season finale against Pittsburgh as long as he continues to test negative. The rookie fourth-round pick joins wide receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge and Donovan Peoples-Jones -- all deemed close contacts -- on the reserve list.

Season high in targets
Bryant caught three of a season-high seven targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Cleveland's tight ends took on an extra workload as the top four wide receivers were placed on the COVID-19 list and unavailable. The position group combined for a season-high 26 targets, smashing the previous high of 12. Bryant and the rest of the tight ends could be back to normal next week. The wideouts, who are considered close contacts of a teammate that tested positive, will spend at least five days on the list. The group could return in time to practice and be ready for Week 17 against the Steelers.

Normalcy returns with Hooper
Bryant caught two of two targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Giants.
Impact
The tight end position group welcomed back Austin Hooper, who returned from a neck injury that forced him to miss Week 14, and that reduced the targets allotted to Bryant. The rookie, who was the target leader among tight ends last week with six, saw a decrease this week with a returning Hooper. All Cleveland tight ends see potential in Week 15 against the Jets, who rank last in fantasy points allowed to tight ends.

Leading TE target
Bryant caught three of a season-high six targets for 18 yards in Monday's 47-42 loss to the Ravens.
Impact
Bryant and fellow tight end David Njoku picked up more playing time with Austin Hooper (neck) on the shelf. Each played significantly with Bryant's 55 snaps slightly outpacing Njoku's 51. For Bryant, who lost fumbles in the two previous games in which he's had a reception, it was just the second time in the last five weeks he's been targeted. Hooper's neck injury is not considered serious, so he could return for Week 15 on the road against the Giants on Sunday night.

Getting starting nod for Week 14

Impact
Bryant had earned six consecutive starts coming into Week 14, though Hooper's confirmed absence clears the fourth-round rookie for a more vital passing-downs role. The Florida Atlanta product reeled in four passes for 56 yards and two TDs during a Week 7 matchup against the Bengals while Hooper was recuperating from a removed appendix.
