INJURIES

Limited practice Wednesday Dulcich (knee/ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday. Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact In the Broncos' Week 2 loss to the Steelers, Dulcich logged 33 of a possible 61 snaps on offense en route to catching three of his eight targets for 16 yards. The tight end is now carrying a pair of injury concerns ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, but still could avoid a Week 3 injury designation if he practices fully by Friday.

Targeted eight times Dulcich recorded three receptions on eight targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers.
Impact Dulcich joined Javonte Williams as Bo Nix's favorite target in the short areas of the field and led Denver in targets. However, he didn't capitalize on the opportunity, as he neither hauled in a high percentage of his looks nor had any significant gains. Dulcich could continue to get opportunity as no other tight end was targeted in Sunday's game, though his ability to turn that into relevant production is questionable.

SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Quiet in loss Dulcich caught two of his three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact Dulcich was unable to get much going against Seattle on a day where rookie quarterback Bo Nix struggled to push the ball down the field. Fantasy managers hoping the 24-year-old tight end could take a step forward this season should take some comfort in the fact that Dulcich led all Denver tight ends in offensive snaps, playing 46 of the team's 69 snaps ahead of both Adam Trautman (24) and Nate Adkins (14). The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder will have an opportunity to get more involved in the passing attack in Week 2, when the Broncos host a formidable Steelers defense that just gave up three catches and a touchdown to Kyle Pitts in Week 1.
SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Two catches in win Dulcich reeled in both of his targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 27-2 preseason win over the Packers.
Impact Dulcich played just nine offensive snaps in the contest, making the most of his limited opportunities and finishing with the most receiving yards of any Denver tight end. The 24-year-old remains the favorite to lead the Broncos' tight end corps as a pass catcher, but fellow tight end Adam Trautman could lead the team in playing time due to his skills as a blocker. Dulcich will look to stay healthy this season and take a step forward as a contributor in head coach Sean Payton's offense in 2024.

Minimal involvement against Colts Dulcich caught one of his two targets for five yards in Sunday's 34-30 preseason win over the Colts.
Impact Dulcich played just 10 offensive snaps in the contest, limiting his potential for much production. With that said, the third-year tight end remains the favorite to be the Broncos top pass-catching tight end in 2024, despite being listed as the No. 2 tight end on the depth chart behind Adam Trautman. According to Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com, offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi said it's been "fantastic" to have a Dulcich healthy in training camp, adding that "it's hard for people to cover him" and that the 24-year-old is a "very explosive." With the coaching staff excited for Dulcich's potential this season, he'll look to take a step forward as a true threat in the Broncos' passing attack.

Listed behind Trautman initially Dulcich is listed as the Broncos' No. 2 tight end on the team's initial unofficial depth chart, Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports.
Impact Dulcich, who was limited to just two regular-season appearances in 2023 as he dealt with hamstring and foot issues, is listed behind Adam Trautman and ahead of Lucas Krull on Denver's current unofficial depth chart. That said, if Dulcich is able to stay healthy and impress as the preseason progresses, the 2022 third-rounder has the pass-catching upside to carry the most fantasy utility among the team's top TE trio in 2024.

Greg Dulcich has made it back to the Broncos' main field after two injury-marred seasons

Tight end Greg Dulcich is finally healthy after missing 15 games last season and seven the year before with recurring hamstring injuries

'It's a blessing to be back': TE Greg Dulcich making an impact early in training camp, grateful to return to practice “I think there’s steps, and each day you’re seeing a glimpse and you are seeing plays,” Head Coach Sean Payton said Saturday.

Practicing, as anticipated As expected, Dulcich participated in practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post reports.
Impact Per McFadden, Dulcich made his mark during Wednesday's session by making a couple of nice catches during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11drills. Dulcich was limited to just two regular-season appearances in 2023 as he dealt with hamstring and foot issues, but if he's able to stay clear of significant injury concerns ahead of Week 1, the 2022 third-rounder has a chance to carve out a key pass-catching role in a Denver tight end corps that also features Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull.
JULY 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to practice this week Coach Sean Payton said Tuesday that Dulcich (hamstring) is expected to practice this week at training camp, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Dulcich avoided placement on the active/PUP list to begin camp, so practicing this week should be a given for him. The third-year tight end has been completely unable to stay healthy as a pro, missing a combined 22 of 34 games since being selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Dulcich played in just two games last season, missing the final 11 overall. The Broncos return veteran Adam Trautman and have openly hyped Lucas Krull this offseason at the tight end position. Payton's Denver regime also wasn't the one that chose to draft Dulcich, so he needs to put some strong, healthy days together this summer.

Avoids injury designation Dulcich (hamstring/foot) avoided being placed on the active/PUP list by the Broncos ahead of training camp beginning Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Impact Dulcich has played in just 12 games over his first two seasons in the NFL, and he'll enter camp looking to leave both a hamstring and a foot injury in his past. His ability to begin training camp without an injury designation is a positive sign for where he's at in his recovery as he looks beat out the likes of Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull for Denver's starting tight end role in 2024.

Expected to miss Week 18 Dulcich, who is dealing with hamstring and foot injuries, is not expected to play in the Broncos' regular-season finale against the Raiders, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette re...
Impact The Broncos designated Dulcich to return from IR on Dec. 13, but he'll likely stay on the team's injured reserve list due to his multiple injuries. Head coach Sean Payton noted Monday, per Tommason, that the team's medical staff are "working hard" to get Dulcich the strength training to stay healthy. The 2022 third-round pick out of UCLA has played just two games this season, and if he is indeed inactive for Week 18, will finish the year with three catches on four targets for 25 yards.

Returns to practice Dulcich (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, with coach Sean Payton suggesting afterward that he's not sure if the tight end will play Saturday against the Lions, Aric DiLal...
Impact The return to practice opens a 21-day window in which Dulcich can be reinstated to the active roster before defaulting to injured reserve for the rest of the season. His career mostly has been defined by hamstring injuries to this point, but he could find a meaningful role down the stretch in an offense that's received very little pass-catching production from its tight ends this season. Dulcich's return, if it happens, presumably would take playing time away from Lucas Krull, and possibly from Adam Trautman as well.

Back on injured reserve Dulcich (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Impact This is Dulcich's second stint on injured reserve due to the same hamstring injury sustained during the season opener. Expect Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz and Nate Adkins to continue working in a committee group at tight end for however long Dulcich is inactive.

OCTOBER 20, 2023 • DENVERPOST.COM
Not playing in Week 7 Dulcich (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Packers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Dulcich initially sustained a hamstring injury in the season opener that forced a stint on injured reserve. After missing the minimum four games on IR, he returned Week 6 at Kansas City, only to aggravate the issue in that game. On Wednesday, coach Sean Payton told DiLalla that Dulcich may require another stay on IR, and in order for him again to sit out the least number of weeks while on that list, the Broncos will need to make such a transaction by Saturday afternoon. For as long as Dulcich is sidelined this time around, the team will roll with Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz and Nate Adkins at tight end.
