Greg Dulcich - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Five catches in loss Dulcich caught 5-of-7 targets for 55 yards in the Dolphins' 24-10 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Impact Dulcich had his far-and-away best performance of the season, seeing seven targets in the loss. The tight end's next-closest number of targets was three in Week 2. The 26-year-old received over double the attention in Week 3 after De'Von Achane (knee) suffered a serious injury.

Catches two of three targets in loss Dulcich caught two of his three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers.

Impact Dulcich saw more of the Miami receiving offense in Week 2. The tight end played 36 of 59 offensive snaps, primarily as a blocker, but saw more attention downfield than in Week 1. Dulcich also contributed on special teams, playing four snaps in the loss.

Tallies two catches in Week 1 loss Dulcich caught both of his targets for 18 yards Sunday in a loss to the Raiders.

Impact Dulcich wasn't particularly productive, but he was the only Miami tight end to catch a pass in the season opener. The 26-year-old was on the field often, logging 43 of the Dolphins' 56 offensive snaps as well as four special-teams snaps. Dulcich is getting the opportunity to work as Miami's No. 1 tight end, and he could gain some fantasy traction as Malik Willis' primary safety valve as the season progresses.

Minimal preseason action Dulcich did not record a target across his two preseason games.

Impact Dulcich played a total of 15 offensive snaps across those two games before sitting for the Dolphins' preseason finale against the Falcons on Friday. Entering his sixth NFL season, the UCLA product has an opportunity to be a featured part in the Dolphins' offense due to the lack of notable skill position players outside of running back De'Von Achane. The veteran tight end also demonstrated a strong rapport with quarterback Malik Willis in training camp, setting up Dulcich to be a go-to target in the passing game for the upcoming season. Dulcich's most productive season came in his rookie campaign with the Broncos in 2022, when he caught 33 passes (on 55 targets) for 411 yards and two touchdowns across 10 regular-season games.

Plays 13 snaps vs. Washington Dulcich played 13 snaps on offense but didn't show up on the box score otherwise during the Dolphins' 20-7 preseason loss to the Commanders on Friday.

Impact Rookie third-rounder Will Kacmarek was listed as the Dolphins' starter in Friday's exhibition game and finished with 19 snaps on offense, second-most on the team behind Cole Turner (20). Dulcich inked a one-year deal with the Dolphins in March after appearing in 10 regular-season games for the team last year, finishing with 26 catches (on 33 targets) for 335 yards and one score. He demonstrated chemistry with quarterback Malik Willis during OTAs and minicamp, and Dulcich could see an uptick in production given the lack of top-end names in the Dolphins' wide receiver corps.

Back to full practice Monday Dulcich (hand) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Dulcich had been in a red non-contact jersey at practice last week but appears to be past his hand issue. The 26-year-old is slated to handle TE1 duties for the Dolphins this season after he caught 26 passes for 335 yards and one touchdown over the final nine games last regular season. A catch-first athlete at the position, there's a world in which Dulcich paces this offense in receiving in 2026 due to the lack of proven playmaking at the wide receiver position.

Practicing in non-contact jersey Dulcich (undisclosed) is practicing Thursday in a red non-contact jersey, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Dulcich hasn't been cleared for taking contact yet, but it's encouraging to see him participating in practice to some extent after being labeled day-to-day Wednesday. Once healthy, Dulcich is expected to operate as the top receiving tight end in a new-look Dolphins offense that lacks an established pecking order among its pass catchers.

Day-to-day with undisclosed injury Dulcich is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley suggested that Dulich could return for next week's joint practices with the Commanders. It thus sounds like the tight end will miss the rest of this week, but he's still well on his way to a role as Miami's top pass catcher at his position. Dulcich does have a worrisome history of hamstring injuries, so it'll be worth a closer look if the current problem turns out to be related. For now, the Dolphins merely consider him day-to-day.

Building chemistry with QBs Dulcich said Thursday that he's been building chemistry with QB Malik Willis during OTAs, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Dulcich told reporters that he's been impressed by Willis' vision and arm strength. It's the typical positive chatter for this time of year, but there is real reason to think Dulcich will become one of Willis' preferred pass-catchers, if only because there's so little else on the roster. Miami's other tight ends have combined for 24 receptions in the NFL, making Dulcich (67 catches in 31 games) the clear favorite for passing-down work. Rookie TE Will Kacmarek, a third-round pick, also has a chance to earn a lot of playing time, but he'll likely do far more blocking than route-running. The Dolphins re-signed Dulcich in March on a one-year, $3.25 million contract ($2.9 million guaranteed) after he averaged 2.9 catches for 37.2 yards over the final nine games of 2025.
