Reverts back to practice squad Dortch reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday.

Impact Dortch was elevated to the Cardinals' active roster for Week 9 as Arizona was without DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) and A.J. Green (reserve/COVID-19). The receiver played four offensive snaps and nine special teams snaps in the Cardinals' win over the 49ers. Dortch will likely stay on the Cardinals' practice squad barring any injuries to Arizona's starting receivers.

Impact Dortch will get a chance to play Sunday against the 49ers. With DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) questionable and A.J. Green on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Cardinals could be thin at wide receiver.

Impact Dortch played just 17 special-teams snaps as a rookie in 2019, and he hasn't taken the field since then. The Wake Forest product is still just 23 years old, so he'll try to continue his development on the practice squad.

Joins forces with Cardinals The Cardinals signed Dortch on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Impact Dortch's only NFL action came in 2019, when he logged two appearances with the Panthers. In those games Dortch only contributed on special teams, returning four punts and five kicks. He'll likely spend training camp in Arizona competing for touches in the return game.

Impact Dortch occupied Atlanta's practice squad all year but didn't play a game. The 5-foot-7, 173-pound wideout contributed as a returner for the Panthers in two games during the 2019 season. The 22-year-old could aim for a similar role with the Falcons in 2021.
