Its nature has been revealed to be an abdominal strain, but Moreau still appears to be in better shape than No. 1 tight end Darren Waller (knee/back), who hasn't practiced in any capacity since he was forced out of the Raiders' Week 12 win in Dallas. If Waller again is sidelined Saturday at Cleveland, Moreau would be in line for another large workload, assuming he's active.

It's unclear if Moreau is any healthier at this stage, but the Raiders' upcoming practice reports will provide a better gauge for which direction both tight ends are trending in as Saturday's game approaches.

He actually handled more snaps (69) following Waller's early exit in the Raiders' Thanksgiving Day win over the Cowboys, but Moreau reeled in only one of his five targets for a three-yard gain.
