Leads backfield Foreman carried the ball 11 times for 30 yards in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Saints. He added two receptions for 48 yards.

Impact Foreman led the Titans' backfield with 11 carries, and he out-paced Adrian Peterson both in opportunity and production on the ground. However, his primary contributions came on receptions of 39 and nine yards. Foreman has quickly found himself in a significant role with the Titans both as a rusher and pass catcher, as he now has 16 rushing attempts and two receptions in a pair of games with the team. Despite his relatively secure role in the offense, Foreman is still stuck in a three-way split in the Titans' backfield, limiting his potential for volume moving forward.

Impact After signing with Tennessee earlier in the week, Foreman finished third on the team in carries behind Adrian Peterson and Jeremy McNichols in the absence of Derrick Henry (foot). Foreman was fairly effective in his opportunities, racking up gains of 11 and eight yards on the ground. It's likely that he will remain in line for at least some work going forward, though it appears the Titans are willing to utilize a split between Peterson, McNichols and Foreman out of the backfield.

Impact Foreman joins fellow running backs Dontrell Hilliard and Adrian Peterson on the Titans' practice squad, and they are candidates to be elevated to the active roster with Derrick Henry expected to be out for an extended period. The Texas product was with Tennessee last season and carried the rock 22 times for 95 yards across six appearances. Nonetheless, Jeremy McNichols and Peterson (once promoted from the practice squad, as expected) seem likely to operate as the lead backs, with Foreman and Hilliard merely acting as depth options.

Impact Foreman and fellow running back Caleb Huntley both inked with the Falcons' practice squad after clearing waivers. Atlanta currently only has Qadree Ollison and Cordarrelle Patterson on the roster behind starter Mike Davis, so both Foreman and Huntley could be real candidates to bump up to the 53-man squad should any positional injuries occur.

The 25-year-old Foreman has played just 17 games since the Texans picked him, 89th overall, in the 2017 draft.

Foreman had 410 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns over 10 games as a rookie for Houston in 2017, but he's failed to have much of an impact otherwise across the past three seasons.

Impact Foreman entered the season without a team, but he joined the Titans' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster within a month. Though he was splitting backup reps with Jeremy McNichols, Foreman showed flashes of promise as a runner by ripping off a few carries of more than 10 yards. Most importantly, Foreman proved capable of staying healthy, something he struggled to do after tearing his Achilles and biceps within his first three years in the league. He signed a one-year deal to join the Titans, meaning he will be a restricted free agent once the Titans' playoff run concludes.

Impact Foreman mixed in for snaps in place of Derrick Henry on the team's first offensive possession and was left wide open on a rollout by Ryan Tannehill to tally his score. His next touch was late in the third quarter, and six of his seven carries came with under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Even with the garbage-time work, Jeremy McNichols saw more of the field, logging 17 offensive snaps in comparison to Foreman's nine.

Impact Foreman logged five carries for the second consecutive week, this time receiving more work than Jeremy McNichols. It's not entirely clear that Foreman has surpassed McNichols, however, as McNichols was on the field for 29 percent of offensive snaps in contrast to Foreman's 15 percent rate. Also worth considering is that Darrynton Evans (hamstring) is eligible to be activated from injured reserve as early as the team's Week 10 matchup against the Colts and would likely slot back in as the team's second back.

However, it's possible that Foreman's stint on the active roster only lasts as long as Darrynton Evans (hamstring) is on IR.
