Not expected to play Thursday Henry (hip), who is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Cowboys, is not expected to suit up, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Impact Henry is listed as doubtful despite coming off back-to-back limited practices, and it appears that Hassan Haskins and Julius Chestnut will be tasked with leading Tennessee's backfield versus Dallas' stout defensive front. The outcome of Thursday's contest won't impact the Titans' chances of attaining the AFC South crown, so Henry's focus may well simply be making sure he's at 100 percent form for Week 18's pivotal divisional matchup against the Jaguars. Official word on Henry's status will come prior to Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Impact Though Henry is nursing what's believed to be a minor hip issue coming out of Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans, the running back suggested Tuesday that he thinks he'll be available for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. More specifically, Henry told Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, that "whatever I got to do, whatever coach needs me to do, I'm ready to do," when asked about his chances of playing Week 17. While head coach Mike Vrabel hasn't indicated that he plans to hold Henry out or limited the running back's snaps and touches Thursday, the Titans would need ample help over the next two weeks to claim a wild-card berth even with a win or tie versus Dallas. At the same time, a loss Thursday wouldn't affect the Titans' bid for the AFC South crown, as Tennessee is playing what amounts to a win-or-go-home game Week 18 in Jacksonville to decide the division champion between the two teams. With that in mind, fantasy managers may want to keep an eye out for reports regarding Henry's potential role for Thursday night, even if he approaches the contest without an injury designation.

Impact Henry entered the game having rushed for more than 200 yards in each of his last four games against the Texans. He appeared to be in line for a fifth consecutive massive performance when he ripped off a 48-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter. However, he managed only two additional runs of more than 10 yards for the rest of the game, which led to a strong but unspectacular performance. Henry also lost a fumble early in the fourth quarter, which led to a field goal for Houston.
