Ruled out Sunday Blythe (sports hernia) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Browns, Charles Goldman of USA Today reports.

Impact Blythe was unable to return to practice Friday, and he won't suit up for the season opener after he underwent hernia surgery in mid-August. Once he's cleared to return, the 29-year-old is slated to serve as a backup center behind Creed Humphrey.
