According to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, head coach Mike McCarthy said Cooper's injury originated from the Cowboys' season-opening loss to the Buccaneers, so the wideout's status for Week 3 may ultimately come down to a matter of pain tolerance. Even if Cooper suits up for the Cowboys' first divisional game, he'll likely have his practice reps managed to some extent Thursday through Saturday.
