Udoka Azubuike - Remains out TuesdayAzubuike (ankle) won't play in Tuesday's game against Portland, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ImpactThe center will remain on the sidelines for the team's second preseason matchup. Azubuike still hasn't been cleared to resume 5-on-5 work, and there hasn't been any update as to when the Kansas product will be able to do so.

Thaddeus Young - Plays in preseason openerYoung (knee) recorded two assists and one rebound across five minutes during Sunday's preseason game against the Jazz.
ImpactYoung reportedly bumped his knee in practice last week, but the fact that he could still log some minutes in Sunday's preseason opener confirms that the issue was minor. As long as he avoids a setback, Young's minutes should continue to increase as the preseason progresses.

Chris Boucher - Posts double-double in winBoucher had 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 14 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 114-82 win over the Jazz.
ImpactBoucher led the Raptors in scoring in this preseason debut and was the only player who ended with a double-double. He signed a three-year, $35 million contract in the offseason and should continue to see roughly 20 minutes per game off the bench as an option at both power forward and center.

Scottie Barnes - Solid all-around effortBarnes posted eight points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block across 18 minutes in Sunday's 114-82 win over the Jazz.
ImpactBarnes was one of the top rookies during the 2021-22 season and is expected to hold a prominent role in the upcoming campaign as a multi-category contributor. He's already entrenched as a starter and meshes well in Toronto's egalitarian offense.

Pascal Siakam - Stuffs stat sheet SundaySiakam had nine points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and a steal across 16 minutes in Sunday's 114-82 win over the Jazz.
ImpactThe statline doesn't look surprising, and the shooting figures were below average, but it's still a solid performance, given he played less than half of the game. No Toronto starter scored in double digits, but Siakam shouldn't have problems reaching that threshold regularly once the season starts. He projects to operate as Toronto's go-to player on offense.
