Jakob Poeltl - Records double-double Sunday Poeltl finished with 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds and two assists in Sunday's 115-111 preseason loss to the Celtics.
Impact Poeltl made his presence felt on both ends of the court Sunday, and the big man seems to be ready for the start of the regular season against the Cavaliers on Oct. 23. Poeltl will open the campaign as Toronto's starting center, but he could be tied to rumors as the season progresses since the Raptors are fully committed to a rebuild, meaning contending teams could target Poeltl down the road.

Gradey Dick - Drains five threes Sunday Dick recorded 18 points (6-18 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and a steal across 24 minutes in Sunday's 115-111 preseason loss to the Celtics.
Impact Dick led the Raptors in scoring Sunday, and all signs point to him having a steady role in a rebuilding Toronto lineup in 2024-25. The second-year guard in slated to open the campaign as the Raptors' starting shooting guard, so he should improve on the 8.5 points per game on 36.5 percent shooting from deep he averaged as a rookie.

Jamal Shead - Another productive performance Shead recorded 14 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists and a steal across 19 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 115-111 preseason loss to the Celtics.
Impact Shead has been using the preseason as an opportunity to carve out a depth role at point guard behind Quickley (thumb) and Davion Mitchell, and there's no question he's taking advantage of every minute he has on the court. Shead is a player worth targeting in deep dynasty formats, but he's not expected to have a steady role in the rotation once the regular season begins for Toronto against the Cavaliers on Oct. 23, so his upside in standard formats will be close to minimal.

Lonnie Walker IV - Scores 20 points Sunday Walker scored 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt) and dished out one assist across 30 minutes in Sunday's 115-111 preseason win over the Raptors.
Impact Walker was one of several Boston players who took advantage of the opportunity to see regular minutes Sunday, but that's not going to be the case in the regular season. Walker will fight for backup minutes, meaning he shouldn't have an established role -- or a lot of fantasy upside, for that matter.

Payton Pritchard - Hands out nine dimes Pritchard delivered 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt), five rebounds and nine assists across 24 minutes in Sunday's 115-111 preseason win over the Raptors.
Impact Pritchard had an excellent showing in this preseason win Sunday, and there's no question he took advantage of the opportunity after the Celtics decided to rest several players who featured in the win over the 76ers on Saturday. Pritchard has a strong grip as the backup point guard behind Jrue Holiday, but given how the Celtics' rotation is currently constructed, he's not expected to have a lot of fantasy upside outside of being a streaming alternative in deep formats.
