Season likely over
Davis (wrist) underwent surgery Tuesday and is out for a minimum of three months, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Impact
Unless the Kings make a surprise playoff push, Davis' season is effectively over because of the ECU tendon injury. If we've seen the last of him, he'll have finished the year appearing in 30 games, with averages of 10.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.9 minutes.

Kings guard Terence Davis out indefinitely with wrist injury
Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis will be out indefinitely after injuring his right wrist in Tuesday night’s 128-75 loss to the Boston Celtics

Sidelined indefinitely
Davis will be sidelined indefinitely after he underwent an MRI on Wednesday that revealed a right wrist ECU tendon injury, Sean Cunningham of ABC 10 Sacramento reports.
Impact
Davis had already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Atlanta after he sustained a wrist injury during Tuesday's loss to Boston, and he'll be forced to miss extended time. While it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, Buddy Hield and Maurice Harkless should see additional run in his absence.

Ruled out Wednesday
Davis will not be available for Wednesday's game against the Hawks due to a sore right wrist.
Impact
Davis took a hard fall during the first half of Tuesday's massive blowout loss to Boston and slammed his head on the court. While he briefly remained in the game to shoot free throws, Davis departed for the locker room and did not return. Based on the injury report, it appears Davis has avoided a concussion, but he's dealing with discomfort in his wrist, which was likely sustained while bracing his fall. Consider the 24-year-old day-to-day in advance of Saturday's game at Philly.

Impact
Davis hit his head on the court after a fall. He managed to shoot his free throws but left for the locker room afterward and will not return. He should be considered questionable at best for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Excels in another start
Davis supplied 22 points (9-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes Saturday in the Kings' 133-127 loss to the Bucks.
Impact
Davis was expected to move to the bench Saturday with Tyrese Haliburton (COVID-19 protocols) cleared to return from the two-game absence, but the former was able to maintain a spot on the top unit after De'Aaron Fox (ankle) was a late scratch ahead of tipoff. With Haliburton sliding over to point guard, Davis thrived as his running mate at shooting guard, turning in another efficient scoring performance. In his three outings since entering the starting five, Davis is averaging 24.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 triples, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals in 35.0 minutes, but his playing time and fantasy utility will likely take a significant hit if Fox is able to make it back for the Kings' next game Tuesday in Boston.

Change of plans, will start
Davis will start Saturday's game against the Bucks, as De'Aaron Fox was a late scratch due to a left ankle injury, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Impact
Davis was initially slated to come off the bench, but he'll remain in the starting five. He's coming off a career-high 35 points, and in his nine starts this season, he's averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 26.3 minutes.

Back to bench
Davis will come off the bench Saturday against the Bucks, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Impact
With Tyrese Haliburton returning from protocols, Davis will resume a bench role. He's coming off a career-high 35 points, so coach Alvin Gentry may give Davis more minutes than usual as a reserve.

Scores career-high 35 points
Davis recorded 35 points (11-23 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 133-131 loss to the Pistons.
Impact
Davis did all he could to try to carry Sacramento to victory, tallying 14 points in the fourth quarter. He finished with 35 points overall -- the most he has ever scored in an NBA game. The third-year pro has been solid for Sacramento of late, averaging 22.0 points and 4.0 three-pointers over his past three games. Davis has shown the ability to be a productive scorer when given adequate playing time, but he's unlikely to see this many minutes once Tyrese Haliburton (COVID-19 protocols) returns to the court.

Joseph hits winner, Pistons rally late to stun Kings 133-131

Leads starters with 17 points
Davis registered 17 points (6-14 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists and four steals across 37 minutes during Sunday's 118-112 loss to the Rockets.
Impact
A forgotten man at times in Sacramento's backcourt, Davis started in place of Tyrese Haliburton (COVID-19 protocols) on Sunday. Notably, Buddy Hield remained in his bench role. Hield boomed for 27 points (9-16 FG) in 30 minutes off the bench, which could propel him into the starting lineup moving forward. Regardless of Davis' title, he's likely to see an uptick in playing time until Haliburton returns.
