Impact Branham has emerged as a solid rotational piece for the Spurs and has improved with each passing year, so the team has decided to keep him around not only for this season, but for 2025-26 as well. Branham averaged 9.2 points, 2.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game across 75 regular-season appearances in 2023-24, his second year in The Association.

Blake Wesley - Has option picked up Wesley had his fourth-year team option picked up by the Spurs on Friday, Ty Jager of FanSided.com reports.

Impact Wesley averaged 5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.3 blocks and 0.4 triples across 17.0 minutes in the final 20 games of his sophomore season in San Antonio. Although his option was picked up, the guard will presumably have to earn a spot providing depth in the backcourt once the regular season tips off.

Victor Wembanyama - Spurs exercise third-year option The Spurs have exercised the third-year option in Wembanyama's contract on Friday, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Impact This is far from a shocking decision from the Spurs' front office, as Wembanyama is already the team's most important player in both the short- and long-term picture despite having played less than 100 games in the NBA in his career following his rookie. Impact Bouyea was let go by the Spurs in September, but the Austin Spurs acquired his G League rights via trade prior to the NBA club signing him. The 25-year-old made 12 appearances for the G League's Austin Spurs in 2023-24, during which he averaged 15.1 points, 6.3 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals.
