A bothersome foot could help explain his shooting woes, and it will be worth monitoring if the star point guard gets the green light Friday. If not, Davion Mitchell could line up for the start at point guard.

Wesley Matthews - Won't play Friday Matthews won't play Friday versus the Mavericks after entering the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Impact Matthews hadn't been included in the Bucks' rotation in the previous three games, as the return of Khris Middleton has left no minutes available for the former Marquette standout. After Friday's contest, the Bucks will continue their Texas swing with a game Sunday in Houston, and Matthews could have a tough time clearing the protocol before then.

He was also unable to generate much production in secondary categories, as he matched his second-lowest totals of the season in rebounds and assists. He's been held under 20 points in each of the last five matchups and has averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 29.6 minutes per game during that time.
