Impact The 76ers were missing a total of 10 players Sunday, allowing Council to step into a featured role. His overall fantasy production has left a lot to be desired, however, as he's averaging12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.8 three-pointers on 32.7 percent shooting over his last four games with a total of zero steals and one block in that span.

Starting sans Yabusele Council will start in Sunday's game against Toronto, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Impact The 23-year-old forward will rejoin the starting five due to Guerschon Yabusele (knee) being sidelined. Council has started in five games this month, averaging 11.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 three-pointers across 31.2 minutes per contest.

MARCH 30, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Not starting Saturday Council is not in the 76ers' starting lineup against the Heat on Saturday, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.

Impact Council has started in the 76ers' last two games, but he'll cede his spot in the starting five to Quentin Grimes. Council has averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 28.5 minutes per game across his last 10 outings, though he's shot just 36.0 percent from the field and 22.8 percent from three over that span.

MARCH 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Starting sans Grimes Council will start in Monday's game against the Pelicans.

Impact The 23-year-old forward will return to the starting five due to Quentin Grimes (rest) being sidelined. Over his last five outings (two starts), Council has averaged 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds across 24.0 minutes per contest.

MARCH 24, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Scores 14 points off bench Council amassed 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 19 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Hawks.

Impact Council recorded his eighth game of the campaign with at least 14 points. The 76ers aren't playing for much these days and are i player-evaluation mode, meaning Council is likely to stay relevant the rest of the way. Over his last eight games, Council has averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 27.3 minutes.

MARCH 24, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Part of second unit Council will come off the bench in Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Impact Guerschon Yabusele (knee) will start in favor of Council on Wednesday. Council has averaged 7.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17.6 minutes over his last 10 games off the bench.

MARCH 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Double-doubles as starter Council racked up 13 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one block and one steal in 28 minutes during Sunday's 130-125 win over the Mavericks.

Impact The 76ers are decimated by injuries, which has allowed Council to play at least 28 minutes in four straight games. During that stretch, he's averaged 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals in 31.8 minutes per game. Council's role would decrease dramatically if Paul George (groin), Kelly Oubre (knee), Tyrese Maxey (back) and/or Lonnie Walker (concussion) return to action soon.

MARCH 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Part of first unit Friday Council is part of the starting lineup for Friday's game against Indiana.

Impact With the depleted 76ers down to just eight available players Friday, Council will move into the starting lineup. The swingman has averaged 13.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.0 threes in 33.8 minutes across four games as a starter this year.

MARCH 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Scores season-high 19 points Council ended with 19 points (7-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Monday's 132-123 loss to Atlanta.

Impact Council has found a way to produce solid numbers despite being primarily rooted in a bench role, although he's not a consistent performer, and his fantasy upside isn't very high because of that same lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis. That said, this was the 17th time that Council has scored in double digits this season, and 13 of those contests, including this season-high scoring output, came off the bench. Council is averaging 7.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in five March outings this season.

Impact Council was given the green light in his second G League outing this season, during which he racked up a game-high 40 points. The 23-year-old is a member of Philadelphia's 15-man roster, though he has averaged only 9.1 minutes per game over his last 12 appearances. Council was able to receive extended playing time with the Blue Coats, and now he'll return to the NBA level for the parent club's game against Utah on Sunday.

Drops 12 points in blowout loss Council closed Monday's 142-110 loss to the Bulls with 12 points (4-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three steals and two assists over 23 minutes.

Impact Council tied the club's bench high in points, and his 23 minutes accounted for his most playing time since Feb. 2. Additionally, the 23-year-old racked up a team-high three steals, tying his season high. Council has seen inconsistent run of late, playing single-digit minutes in six of the club's last eight outings. The second-year forward has failed to score in five of those eight appearances.

FEBRUARY 25, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Back to bench Tuesday Council is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.

Impact After flirting with a triple-double in Sunday's loss to Boston, Council will revert back to Philadelphia's bench Wednesday in the return of Joel Embiid (knee). Over 36 games from the 76ers' second unit this season, Council has averaged 6.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 threes in 13.3 minutes, diminishing most of his fantasy value.

FEBRUARY 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Flirts with triple-double Sunday Council accumulated 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 118-110 loss to Boston.

Impact Council made his fourth start of the season for the 76ers in the absence of Eric Gordon (knee), flirting with what would've been his first career triple-double Sunday. Council has averaged 13.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 three-pointers per game with Philadelphia's first unit this year, so the 23-year-old swingman should carry some decent streaming appeal if Gordon remains out for Tuesday's tilt against the Mavericks.

FEBRUARY 3, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Starting sans Gordon Council will enter the starting lineup in Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Impact With Eric Gordon (knee) on the shelf, Council will make his fourth start of the season. Over his last 10 outings (three starts), the 23-year-old has averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 20.6 minutes per contest.

Pops for 16 off bench Tuesday Council amassed 16 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in 20 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 118-104 win over the Lakers.

Impact The second-year forward continues to give the Sixers useful minutes as they deal with a number of injuries. Council has played at least 20 minutes in four of his last seven appearances and scored in double digits each time, averaging 10.6 points, 4.0 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.0 steals over that stretch.

JANUARY 29, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Rejoins parent club The 76ers recalled Council from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Sunday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Impact Council will be available for the 76ers' next game Tuesday versus the Lakers and could be in line for a meaningful role in the rotation, depending on the status of Paul George (finger). The second-year forward had logged just 11 total minutes over the 76ers' last two games, so he was sent to the G League on Sunday to get some meaningful run. He played 37 minutes Sunday in the Blue Coats' 111-102 win over the Greensboro Swarm, finishing with 29 points (8-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

JANUARY 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Back to bench Tuesday Council won't start Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.

Impact With Paul George (groin) available for the 76ers on Tuesday, Council will shift back to Philadelphia's second unit. Council has averaged 5.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists through 31 games off the bench this season, so he'll carry minimal fantasy relevance against Denver.

JANUARY 22, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Productive in starting role Council contributed 18 points (6-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 115-102 loss to the Pacers.

Impact The efficiency wasn't really there, as Council made just 33.3 percent of his 18 shots from the field, but fantasy managers will certainly be pleased with his solid contributions on both ends of the court. Given that the Sixers are likely to remain depleted for the second leg of this back-to-back set Sunday when facing the Bucks, it wouldn't be surprising if Council earns another start. In two outings with the first unit, Council has racked up 31 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals.

JANUARY 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Starting against Pacers Council will start against the Pacers on Saturday, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Impact Paul George is sitting out with groin tightness for the first leg of this back-to-back set, so there's plenty of minutes and touches up for grabs. In his only start of the season, Council produced 13 points, four assists, four rebounds and one three-pointer.

JANUARY 18, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Back to bench Wednesday Council will come off the bench in Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

Impact With Paul George (ankle) back for the 76ers on Wednesday, Council will head back to the bench against New York. Council has averaged 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists over 30 games off the bench this season.

JANUARY 15, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Getting starting nod Council is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Thunder, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports.

Impact Council will make his first career start Tuesday due to Tyrese Maxey (hand), Kyle Lowry (hip), Paul George (ankle), Caleb Martin (groin) and KJ Martin (foot) all being out. Due to this injury crisis in Philadelphia, Council will likely log significantly more than his season average of 12.6 minutes per contest.

JANUARY 14, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Scores 12 points in blowout loss Council racked up 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Thursday's 139-105 loss to the Warriors.

Impact Council gave the 76ers a boost with 12 points off the bench, but he wasn't able to offer much production elsewhere in the box score, and most of contributions came during garbage time in the fourth quarter of Thursday's blowout loss. The 23-year-old wing hasn't been a consistent part of Philadelphia's rotation recently, as he's averaging 8.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 0.5 threes in 15.7 minutes covering his last eight appearances. Fantasy managers can leave Council on the majority of waiver wires while the team is relatively healthy.

JANUARY 3, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Good to go against San Antonio Council (knee) is available for Monday's game against the Spurs, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Impact Council has missed two games since Dec. 6 due to right knee soreness, but he will suit up for Monday's contest. He's managed to suit up in each of the 76ers' last four games, and over that span he has averaged 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 16.0 minutes per game.
