Devin Booker progressing, out at least one more week Gerald Bourguet: Devin Booker (left groin strain) continues progressing and will be re-evaluated again in one week, per SunsSource: Twitter...
JANUARY 25 • HOOPSHYPE.COM
Deandre Ayton - Likely to play Thursday Ayton (illness) is probable for Thursday's game against the Mavericks, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Impact Ayton has missed the last three games due to an illness, but he returned to practice Wednesday and will likely be back in action a day later. He's posted double-doubles in five of his last six appearances, averaging 17.5 points, 12.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 32.7 minutes per game over that stretch.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Landry Shamet - Won't play Thursday Shamet (foot) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against Dallas, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact Shamet will miss a fifth straight game due to a foot injury. His next chance to suit up will come Saturday in San Antonio. In his absence, Duane Washington, Josh Okogie and Damion Lee are candidates for increased minutes behind Chris Paul and Mikal Bridges.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Devin Booker (groin)'continues progressing,' will be re-evaluated again in a week Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker will be re-evaluated again in a week for a left groin strain he suffered Christmas Day at Denver.
JANUARY 25 • AZCENTRAL.COM
Devin Booker - Out at least another week The Suns announced Wednesday that Booker (groin) will be re-evaluated in a week, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Impact Booker is progressing in his recovery from a left groin strain, but coach Monty Williams said Sunday that the 26-year-old still has "a lot of boxes to check" before returning to game action. Booker will be out until at least early February, but it's certainly possible that he's forced to miss even more time, given Williams' update over the weekend.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Deandre Ayton - Takes part in practice Ayton (illness) was present for Wednesday's practice and was spotted taking part in work during the media-access portion of the session, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic report...
Impact While it's unclear if Ayton was a full or partial participant in the session, his involvement in any capacity bodes well for his chances of putting an end to his three-game absence Thursday against the Mavericks. Bismack Biyombo has started at center in each of the past three games in Ayton's stead, averaging 7.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 assists in 25.7 minutes in those contests.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Devin Booker - Still lacking clear return date Suns head coach Monty Williams said Sunday that he doesn't have an exact date for when Booker (groin) will be re-evaluated, but the three-time All-Star isn't expected to be ready t...
Impact After Booker suffered the left groin strain in the first quarter of the Suns' Christmas Day loss to the Nuggets, the Suns announced three days later that he would be re-evaluated in four weeks. Though one month has now passed since he sustained the injury, Booker remains without a clear target date to resume playing, given that he hasn't yet been cleared even for full-contact practice. At this stage, fantasy managers may want to be prepared for the possibility that Booker is sidelined through the All-Star break, though more clarity on his timeline could arrive whenever his re-evaluation comes.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Torrey Craig - Fails to score Tuesday Craig supplied zero points (0-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 victory over the Hornets.
Impact Phoenix didn't need Craig to score in the blowout win, though the 0-for-7 mark from the field is damaging to fantasy managers. Craig is an inconsistent performer across the stat sheet and is really only viable in deep leagues. Even then, it's best to wait until he's on a four-game week to start him. Over the past 10 games, the forward is averaging 8.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 combined steals-plus-blocks in 27.0 minutes.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Bismack Biyombo - Swats away five shots Biyombo chipped in six points (3-6 FG), nine rebounds, five blocks and four assists over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 victory over the Hornets.
Impact Biyombo was efficient with limited chances on the offensive end, but his big contributions came on the defensive end. He ripped down eight defensive rebounds and tallied a season-high five blocks. Biyombo is averaging 7.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.0 blocks across three straight starts in the absence of Deandre Ayton (illness).
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Cameron Johnson - Catches fire from three Johnson had 24 points (9-11 FG, 6-7 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists over 18 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 victory over the Hornets.
Impact Despite playing less than half of the game, Johnson finished as the Suns' scoring leader for the night thanks to some stellar marksmanship. He's now scored 19 or more points in two of his three contests since returning from meniscus surgery and is shooting 53.3 percent from the field over that stretch.
JANUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Dario Saric - Impresses off bench Saric ended with 19 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 128-97 win over the Hornets.
Impact Saric led the Phoenix bench with 19 points with the help of three triples on four tries. He also registered eight rebounds for a second straight game. Saric has notably received a heavier workload in his last two contests, logging 21 and 24 minutes, respectively, which is well above his season average of 13.8 minutes per matchup.

Deandre Ayton - Officially out Ayton (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Charlotte, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Impact Ayton was downgraded to doubtful earlier in the day, so this latest update comes as no surprise. He'll miss his third straight contest while recovering from an illness.

Deandre Ayton - Upgraded to doubtful Ayton (illness) has been upgraded from out to doubtful ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Hornets.
Impact Ayton remains expected to miss Tuesday's contest, but the upgrade suggests there is at least a chance the big man will rejoin the action. If he misses a third straight game, as expected, Bismack Biyombo figures to get another start, and Jock Landale will likely snare a more sizable role as well. Even if Ayton sits, his upgrade to doubtful suggests a return isn't too far away. The change in designation still means it will be worth keeping an eye on Ayton's status leading up to the 9 PM ET tipoff.
JANUARY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Cameron Payne - To miss at least another week Payne (foot) will be re-evaluated in one week, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Impact Payne was already ruled out for Tuesday's matchup, which will mark his 10th straight absence with a right foot sprain, but the backup point guard will now be shelved for at least another week. The Suns recently got Chris Paul back in the mix, but they'll still be without Payne, Devin Booker (groin) and Landry Shamet (foot) for the foreseeable future.
