Breanna Stewart - Sniffs double-double Stewart had 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 89-63 win over the Mystics.
Impact Stewart once again played under a minute restriction Thursday, though it was loosened compared to Monday's game against the Sun, where she logged 19 points on 21 minutes. The star forward should ramp up her minutes Saturday at Phoenix, as the Liberty only have a handful of games left before the start of the playoffs. They need Stewart to be at her best to make a deep playoff run.

Marine Johannes - Puts up 14 points in win Johannes ended with 14 points (4-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound and five assists in 29 minutes during Thursday's 89-63 victory over the Mystics.
Impact Johannes didn't have her best shooting performance, but she took advantage of having a starting role in an injury-plagued Liberty squad to post her first double-digit scoring haul since Aug. 16. It's hard to rely on Johannes for sustained fantasy production, though. She's averaging a mere 6.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game across 13 appearances (three starts) since the beginning of August.

Emma Meesseman - Takes advantage of opportunity Meesseman produced 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Thursday's 89-63 win over the Mystics.
Impact Meesseman entered the starting lineup Thursday with the Liberty battling through a slew of injuries, and she put together her best scoring performance since Aug. 13. She was equally impressive on the glass and as a facilitator as she turned in a strong all-around final line. Meesseman would presumably see a similar role Saturday if Jonquel Jones (illness) is forced to miss more time.

Isabelle Harrison - Strong showing in return Harrison collected 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Thursday's 89-63 victory over the Mystics.
Impact Harrison took the court for the first time since Aug. 10 after missing time with a concussion, and she looked sharp on the offensive end by leading her club in scoring. This marks her first game in double figures since July 30, and it's the most playing time she's received since June 21, potentially hinting that more opportunities could be in her future.

Marine Johannes - Joining first unit vs. Mystics Johannes will be in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Washington, Geoff Magliocchetti of Winsidr reports.
Impact The injury-plagued Liberty will have just eight active players Thursday, and Johannes has been summoned to start in the backcourt. Johannes has averaged 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.9 minutes per game across four appearances as a starter this year, and she should be in line for a heavy workload.
AUGUST 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Emma Meesseman - Starting Thursday Meesseman will start Thursday's game against the Mystics, Geoff Magliocchetti of Winsidr reports.
Impact The Liberty are down to eight available players Thursday, allowing Meesseman to draw the start at center. Meesseman has averaged 13.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks in 27.7 minutes per game over 10 outings as a starter this season.
AUGUST 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Breanna Stewart - Minutes restriction to be loosened Stewart is having her minutes restriction increased to around 25 in Thursday's game against the Mystics, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.
Impact Thursday will be Stewart's second game back from a 13-game absence with a knee injury, and she logged 21 minutes during Monday's 81-79 victory over the Sun. The Liberty will be without Jonquel Jones (illness), Sabrina Ionescu (toe), Natasha Cloud (nose) and Nyara Sabally (knee), so Stewart may have to shoulder more of a load than usual against Washington.
AUGUST 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jonquel Jones - Late scratch vs. Washington Jones (illness) is out for Thursday's game against the Mystics, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.
Impact Jones is a late scratch with an illness Thursday, which leaves a considerable void in New York's lineup. Her next chance to suit up is Saturday in Phoenix. Emma Meesseman is a prime candidate to slide back into the first unit against Washington.
AUGUST 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Sabrina Ionescu - Won't play Thursday Ionescu (toe) won't play Thursday against the Mystics, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.
Impact Ionescu is dealing with a left toe injury, and she can be considered day-to-day ahead of next opportunity to return Saturday in Phoenix. In the star guard's stead, Marine Johannes and Rebekah Gardner will likely be tasked the bulk of the ball-handling duties.

Sabrina Ionescu - Added to injury report Ionescu is now questionable for Thursday's game against the Mystics with a left toe issue, Madeline Kenney of the New York Post reports.
Impact Ionescu missed Saturday's game against the Dream with an injury on the same foot, but returned during Monday's 81-79 win over the Sun. She did struggle in that contest, and it's fair to wonder if she's in need of some maintenance with the playoffs approaching. With Natasha Cloud (nose) ruled out, the Liberty may need Marine Johannes and Rebekah Gardner to step up.
AUGUST 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Natasha Cloud - Won't play Thursday Cloud (nose) will not play Thursday against the Mystics, Madeline Kenney of the New York Post reports.
Impact Cloud was initially listed as questionable for this contest, but she will miss her second straight game. She was able to practice Wednesday, however, meaning she's likely considered day-to-day. Additionally, Sabrina Ionescu is now questionable due to a left toe issue.

Natasha Cloud - Questionable for Thursday Cloud (nose) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Mystics, Jackie Powell of TheNextHoops.com reports.
Impact Cloud is nursing a nasal fracture, but she was able to practice Wednesday and has a chance to play against Washington. It's worth noting that head coach Sandy Brondello said Monday that Cloud is expected to suit up Thursday, so she sounds to be trending in the right direction. Kennedy Burke would likely remain in New York's starting lineup if Cloud is unavailable.
AUGUST 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Isabelle Harrison - Removed from injury report Harrison (concussion) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Mystics, Jackie Powell of TheNextHoops.com reports.
Impact Harrison is set to return Thursday from a seven-game absence due to a concussion. With Breanna Stewart now back in the lineup, Harrison may not see significant playing time in the frontcourt against Washington. Harrison has averaged 5.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 12.3 minutes per game over her last five outings.

Emma Meesseman - Posts 10 points off bench Meesseman racked up 10 points (5-9 FG), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 21 minutes during Monday's 81-79 victory over Connecticut.
Impact Meesseeman was deployed to the bench, as the Liberty went with a smaller starting five. Meesseman responded well, shooting with accuracy, while also chipping in with a block, too. She has scored at least 10 points in 10 of the past 11 games, while posting at least one block in four of the past five outings.
AUGUST 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Kennedy Burke - Makes most of start Burke logged 14 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Monday's 81-79 victory over the Sun.
Impact Burke took advantage of the absence of Natasha Cloud (nose), showing off tremendous accuracy, especially from distance. She also ended up turning it over just once, while posting a plus-2 rating. It's uncertain if Cloud will be forced to miss more time, but Burke certainly acquitted herself well when called upon to start.
AUGUST 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Breanna Stewart - Productive in limited minutes Stewart registered 19 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 11-13 FT), five rebounds and one block across 21 minutes during Monday's 81-79 victory over the Sun.
Impact Stewart (knee) was returning from a 13-game absence, and she ended up playing limited minutes, as expected. She did most of her work from the charity stripe, and she was very effective, although she was quite rusty from the field, especially behind the arc.
AUGUST 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Sabrina Ionescu - Disappoints in home victory Ionescu totaled 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Monday's 81-79 win over the Sun.
Impact Ionescu struggled with her shot, while committing four turnovers. Still, she just missed a double-double by one assist, while also flirting with a triple-double. Her shooting from distance has been lacking lately, hitting just 11.1 percent (1-9 3Pt) in the past two games.
