Impact Carter indicated earlier in the week that he was targeting Friday for his return to the floor. While the questionable designation doesn't guarantee that return, it puts him in the conversation after being ruled out initially for contests dating back to mid-November. Given his lengthy stay on the sidelines, Carter could be eased back into action, but his return would likely result in fewer minutes for Moritz Wagner and Mo Bamba.

Barely visible in victory Ross closed Wednesday's 116-110 victory over the Rockets with two points (1-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 19 minutes.
Impact Ross was the first player off the bench, ending with 19 unproductive minutes. He is maintaining a relatively consistent role, in part due to injuries to other players, but has been unable to convert those minutes into fantasy value. At best, he could be viewed as a points streamer, but as we saw here, even that could be considered a risky gamble.

Impact Wagner played through an ankle sprain, leading the team with 25 points including four triples. While his peripheral numbers were a little underwhelming, the two steals were an added bonus. He is just inside the top 100 for the season, slightly below where he was being drafted. However, he has been a top-60 player over the past two weeks, coinciding with the return of Markelle Fultz. As the two continue to work on their chemistry, look for Wagner to increase his overall rank as the season progresses.

Impact Banchero chalked up his sixth double-double of the season as the Magic got back in the winners' column following their loss to the Hawks. He has also now scored at least 20 points in 11 of his past 12 games, establishing himself as the firm favorite to win the Rookie of the Year Award. From a fantasy perspective, he retains more value in points leagues than category leagues, due in large part to the fact that he's shooting 44.1 percent from the field (on 16 attempts per game) and 75.1 percent from the free-throw line (on 8.3 attempts per game).
