NBA Confidential: Which contenders are vulnerable to a first-round upset?
Gordon Hayward - Pops for 18 in return Hayward accumulated 18 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), one rebound and one steal in 20 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 127-89 victory over the Spurs.
Impact The veteran forward had missed the prior two games with a tibia injury, but Hayward came out firing Wednesday and produced his best scoring effort in a Thunder jersey, and his most productive game since he dropped 20 points on the Heat back on Dec. 13. Hayward has been a solid addition to OKC's second unit, but his minutes and usage don't make a repeat performance likely over the final two games of the regular season.

Impact The third-year guard teased his fourth triple-double of the season as he bounced back from a poor four-point showing against the Kings on Tuesday. Giddey is having a strong finish to the regular season as the Thunder guns for the top seed in the Western Conference, and over the last 15 games he's averaged 16.3 points, 7.7 boards, 6.5 assists and 1.3 threes while shooting 54.1 percent from the floor.

Impact The 25-year-old guard led all scorers on the night as OKC cruised to an easy win over a shorthanded Spurs squad. Gilgeous-Alexander has looked like his usual self in two games since returning from a quadricep strain, and with the Thunder still trying to topple the Nuggets and claim the top seed in the Western Conference, expect him to see heavy usage over the final two games of the regular season.
