Impact Mitchell is getting the start with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (elbow) unavailable, and he'll be joined in the first unit by Cason Wallace, Jalen Williams, Jaylin Williams and Chet Holmgren. Over six starts this season, Mitchell owns averages of 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.5 triples, 2.0 steals and 1.8 turnovers per contest on 51/50/91 shooting splits.

Impact This injury comes out of nowhere for the MVP. There's been no mention of this issue previously, and it's certainly possible the Thunder are simply looking to give him a maintenance day. More clarity can expected after the weekend, but for now, he can be considered questionable for Wednesday against the Suns. With Gilgeous-Alexander out, the Thunder could rely more on Cason Wallace and Ajay Mitchell.

Chet Holmgren - Solid in blowout win Holmgren closed Friday's 132-111 win over the Mavericks with 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes.
Impact Holmgren and teammate Jalen Williams posted nearly identical box scores as each finished with 15 points and eight rebounds against the Mavericks. The former player 23 points and the latter 24. Oklahoma City separated from Dallas in the third quarter which limited his output. It's been a while since Holmgren tallied a double-double. After collecting three in the first four games of the year, the Gonzaga product's lone other double-double was back on November 11th.

Impact It's been a steady start to the season for Williams who now has four games under his belt. He continues to have balanced production, but has only crossed the 20-point threshold once in those four outings and averaging. It remains to be seen if J-Dub will return to the 21.6 points per game he averaged last year with the team getting improved scoring from Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell. Williams collected a season-best eight boards against the Mavericks, as he

Impact Gilgeous-Alexander was excellent against Dallas, needing only 29 minutes and 12 field goal attempts to rack up 33 points. SGA has been impressively consistent with his production. This game marked his 19th with 30 or more points. Through 23 games Shai is shooting a career best 44.3-percent from behind the arc, while also attempting nine free throws per game. On the defensive end, Gilgeous-Alexander failed to register a steal which ended a streak of 13 in a row with at least one.
