Undergoes shoulder surgery Claxton will miss the resumption of the 2019-20 season after undergoing arthroscopic labrum repair surgery on his left shoulder Wednesday, Anthony Puccio of NetsDaily.com reports.

Impact The 21-year-old appeared in one of Brooklyn's final 19 games prior to the shutdown, spending most of his time in the G League. Still, the injury hurts the team's frontcourt depth as it looks to secure its place in the playoffs. Claxton is expected to be fully recovered by the start of training camp for the 2020-21 campaign.
