Impact Nesmith could return Wednesday after missing the previous four games due to right foot soreness. However, the third-year forward has received multiple questionable tags before being ruled out over this stretch. Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin should continue to see extended minutes if Nesmith doesn't play against the Nuggets.

Impact Temple will remain sidelined due to personal matters. He hasn't seen the floor since Oct. 30, but he's totaled just 21 minutes across two appearances this season, so his prolonged absence hasn't impacted the Pelicans' rotation.

Larry Nance Jr. - Officially listed as questionable Nance (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Impact As expected, Nance avoided a major injury and has a chance to suit up Wednesday after leaving Monday's game against the Pacers with a knee injury. An MRI revealed no structural damage, and the big man is being listed with a left knee hyperextension. Nance is expected to receive treatment leading up to the game, but it wouldn't be surprising to see New Orleans err on the side of caution and hold him out for at least one contest to prevent further injury.

Jalen Smith - Goes for 15 and 11 in win Smith ended Monday's 129-122 victory over New Orleans with 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block over 29 minutes.

Impact Myles Turner's big night stole the show for Indiana, but Smith quietly posted his third double-double of the season. The 2020 first-round pick, who was cast off by the Suns, has started every game thus far and is up to 11.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.9 blocks per game in 24.2 minutes. His percentages -- 45.2% FG, 29.7% 3PT, 68.2% FT -- leave plenty to be desired, however.
