Danté Exum - Absent once again Exum (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.
Impact Exum has yet to play this season due to a knee injury. His next chance to suit up will come against the Wizards on Saturday in the second leg of a back-to-back set.

Anthony Davis - Not expected to play Friday Davis (calf) is unlikely to play in Friday's game against Memphis.
Impact Davis is considered day-to-day with a low-grade calf strain, but he's not likely to suit up Friday. With the superstar big man in line for a fourth consecutive absence, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford should both play an expanded role.

Micah Peavy - Scoreless in 18 minutes Peavy notched zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds over 18 minutes during Wednesday's 101-99 win over the Mavericks.
Impact The absence of Jordan Poole (knee) paved the way for Peavy to play, but he was unable to take advantage of the opportunity, missing his lone field goal attempt. If Poole can't go Saturday against San Antonio, Peavy may likely see the court for extended minutes again.

Jaden Hardy - Scoreless in loss Hardy finished with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound over 10 minutes during Wednesday's 101-99 loss to New Orleans.
Impact Hardy has not been a consistent figure in the Mavericks' rotation, and barely sees the court as the third-string point guard behind D'Angelo Russell and Brandon Williams. He has gone scoreless in two straight contests, and will likely see very limited action moving forward.

Brandon Williams - Drops 10 off bench Williams amassed 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals over 19 minutes during Wednesday's 101-99 loss to the Pelicans.
Impact Williams' role as the backup point guard behind D'Angelo Russell is somewhat solidified, but the amount of minutes he sees the floor has been very inconsistent, partly because head coach Jason Kidd ran a brief experiment with rookie Cooper Flagg at point guard. Assuming Russell is the starting facilitator until Kyrie Irving (knee) or Dante Exum (knee) returns, Williams will continue to back him up.
