Moses Brown Throws Down THUNDEROUS Dunk vs. Wizards | Indiana Pacers
NOVEMBER 24, 2024 • YOUTUBE
Plays seven minutes in debut Brown had six points (3-4 FG) and four rebounds in seven minutes during Wednesday's 130-113 loss to the Rockets.
Impact Brown came off the bench in his season debut, playing seven minutes. Having lost both James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson to season-ending Achilles injuries, Brown should be able to pick up consistent minutes playing behind Myles Turner. Brown has the ability to be a strong per-minute producer and could step into a larger role should Turner miss any time over the course of the season.

Moses Brown Scores First Points in Blue & Gold at Rockets | Indiana Pacers
NOVEMBER 21, 2024 • YOUTUBE
Available to play Wednesday Brown (recently signed) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets.
Impact Brown signed with the Pacers earlier this week and is seemingly available to make his team debut against Houston. The 25-year-old big man is expected to compete for depth minutes in Indiana's frontcourt.
NOVEMBER 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Catches on with Indiana The Pacers are signing Brown to an NBA contract Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Impact Brown has been playing in the G League with the Westchester Knicks, where he has averaged 18.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals over 27.3 minutes per game across four outings. The Pacers lost backup big men James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson to torn Achilles injuries, and with no other centers currently on the 15-man roster outside Myles Turner (calf), Brown has an opportunity to come in and contribute immediately in a reserve role. Brown appeared in 22 regular-season games (including five starts) for the Trail Blazers during the 2023-24 campaign and averaged 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds over 9.1 minutes per contest.
NOVEMBER 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Handed walking papers Brown was waived by the Knicks on Thursday.
Impact Brown put pen to paper on an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday, but his time with the team didn't last long. He'll be a strong candidate to be brought back to play for New York's G League team, the Westchester Knicks.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Strikes deal with New York Brown signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Knicks on Wednesday.
Impact The 7-foot-2, 258-pound center spent the 2023-24 season with the Trail Blazers, appearing in 22 contests (five starts) while averaging 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per contest. After becoming a free agent in the offseason, Brown linked up with the Lakers for the Las Vegas Summer League, but he remained unsigned until striking a deal with the Knicks. The 24-year-old will get a chance to compete for a spot on the Knicks' 15-man roster for the remainder of the preseason but could be headed to the G League's Westchester Knicks if he gets cut before the Oct. 22 season opener versus the Celtics.
OCTOBER 9, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Back to full strength Brown registered nine points (3-6 FG, 3-6 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes during Thursday's 93-89 Summer League win over the Cavaliers.
Impact Brown missed the first half of the Lakers' back-to-back due to an illness but returned to action a day later. The 24-year-old center appeared in 22 games (five starts) for Portland last year but doesn't have a regular-season deal for 2024-25.
JULY 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Battling illness Brown won't play in Friday's Summer League game against Atlanta due to illness, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.
Impact Brown is feeling under the weather and will sit out the opening leg of a back-to-back set for the Summer League Lakers. The 24-year-old's next chance to play will come Thursday against Cleveland.

Free agent Moses Brown unlikely to return: Blazers season review, look ahead The backup center doesn't appear to make sense for next season.
APRIL 29, 2024 • OREGONLIVE.COM
Gets start Sunday Brown will start at center in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Kings.
Impact With Deandre Ayton (back) sidelined, Brown will get the start at center. He has averaged 1.5 points and 7.0 rebounds across 11.8 minutes in four starts this season.
APRIL 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Recalled by Portland The Trail Blazers have recalled Brown on Saturday from the G League's Rip City Remix.
Impact The Remix didn't reach the G League playoffs, so Brown will add depth in the frontcourt for a Portland team that's also eliminated from reaching the postseason at the NBA level. At the very least, the Blazers can see if Brown can deliver decent numbers in the final weeks of the campaign. The big man has recorded 19 appearances (four starts) with the Trail Blazers in 2023-24, averaging 2.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.4 blocks across 8.8 minutes per game.
MARCH 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Makes return Friday Brown (wrist) tallied seven points (3-3 FG, 1-3 FT) and one rebound in nine minutes Friday in the Trail Blazers' 122-92 win over the Grizzlies.
Impact Brown had been sidelined since early January after requiring surgery to address a non-displaced fracture in his left wrist, but he was back in action Friday and ended up slotting into the rotation with Deandre Ayton (hand) sidelined. He ended up playing ahead of Ibou Badji as the primary backup to fill-in starting center Duop Reath, but if Ayton is back in action for Saturday's game in Memphis, Brown would likely drop back out of the Trail Blazers' rotation.
MARCH 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available Friday Brown (wrist) is available for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.
Impact Brown will suit up for the first time since Jan. 1. He's averaging just 9.1 minutes per game across nine appearances (four starts) this season, so his role figures to be minor.
MARCH 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Friday Brown (wrist) is questionable for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.
Impact Brown has been out since January 1, recovering from left wrist surgery, but it appears he's on the cusp of getting back to the court. He'll likely have some minute restrictions once he is cleared, but if Deandre Ayton (hand) goes down for a prolonged stretch, Brown could potentially be looking at a ton of opportunity. He can remain on the waiver wire in most formats, but he's worth monitoring in deep leagues.
FEBRUARY 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Absence to continue Tuesday Brown (wrist) will not play Tuesday against Miami.
Impact Brown's next opportunity to take the court comes Friday versus Memphis, although it's unclear how close the big man is to a return. Duop Reath and Jabari Walker will likely continue stepping up as the relevant contributors off the bench in the frontcourt.
FEBRUARY 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out once again Brown (wrist) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Hornets.
Impact Brown hasn't played since Jan. 1 after undergoing surgery on his left wrist, and the big man doesn't have a clear date to return to the hardwood. As such, fantasy managers shouldn't target him in any format for the foreseeable future.
FEBRUARY 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Remains sidelined Brown (wrist) won't play in Friday's game versus the Nuggets.
Impact Brown hasn't played since Jan. 1 after undergoing surgery on his left wrist. While fantasy managers should look out for an official update from the Trail Blazers, there is no indication that Brown is close to returning to action.
FEBRUARY 23, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out at least six weeks The Trail Blazers announced Wednesday that Brown underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder and will be re-evaluated in six weeks.
Impact Brown has already missed Portland's last four games and is expected to remain out until at least the end of February. With Deandre Ayton (knee) also sidelined, Duop Reath and Ibou Badji should continue to receive extended minutes until Ayton is able to return to action.
JANUARY 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Will undergo surgery on wrist The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Brown will undergo surgery on his left wrist.
Impact Brown has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture of his scaphoid, and his surgery is scheduled for this week. A timetable for a return will be announced after the surgery, but fantasy managers should plan on Brown missing several weeks. Duop Reath has played very well for the Trail Blazers in recent games and has become a popular fantasy pickup with so many injuries in Portland.
JANUARY 8, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Still out against Brooklyn Brown (wrist) won't play in Sunday's game versus the Nets.
Impact Brown's absence streak will extend to three games Sunday due to a sprained left wrist. His next chance to suit up is Tuesday's matchup with the Knicks.
JANUARY 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Won't suit up Friday Brown (wrist) is out for Friday's game versus the Mavericks.
Impact Brown will miss his second straight game Friday due to a left wrist sprain. With Deandre Ayton (knee) still out, Duop Reath and Ibou Badji will likely split time at center. Brown's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Brooklyn.
JANUARY 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Downgraded to out Brown (wrist) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
Impact Brown has started in four straight games for the Trail Blazers in place of Deandre Ayton (knee), but he'll be held out of Wednesday's contest. Expect Duop Reath to claim Brown's starting role while Ibou Badji is likely to see more work off the bench. Brown's next chance to play will come Friday at Dallas.
JANUARY 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable against Dallas Brown is questionable for Wednesday's game versus Dallas due to a left wrist sprain.
Impact Brown has been starting in Portland's last five outings with Deandre Ayton (knee) out. However, if Brown is unable to suit up Wednesday, Duop Reath (back) and Ibou Badji are candidates to receive increased minutes.
