Cleveland hosts conference foe New York

Cleveland plays New York in a matchup of Eastern Conference teams

Done for Sunday's game Robinson won't return for the second half of Sunday's game against the Clippers after suffering a left ankle sprain earlier in the contest.

Impact Prior to his departure, Robinson tallied eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes. The fourth-year player picked up his ninth straight start Sunday, but the injury will put him at risk of missing the second half of the Knicks' back-to-back set Monday in Cleveland, and perhaps additional contests to follow. Fortunately for the Knicks, Nerlens Noel (knee) was cleared to return from a four-game absence Sunday, restoring some depth at the center position. If Robinson is forced to miss time, Noel and Taj Gibson would likely split the minutes at center.

Heads to locker room Robinson went to the locker room after appearing to suffer a left leg injury during Sunday's contest against the Clippers, Fred Katz of The Athletic report.

Impact Robinson dove for a loose ball and appeared to get tangled up with Luke Kennard before leaving the game with a noticeable limp. The starting big man had eight points, right rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes before exiting. If he's unable to return, Taj Gibson and Nerlens Noel will have to handle the center duties for the remainder of the game.

Impact Robinson now has two straight games with a double-double and multiple blocks, and the big man is making his presence felt on both ends of the court. While he's not the most polished offensive player out there, Robinson has scored in double digits in four of his last eight contests and has been remarkably efficient throughout the campaign. He's making 79.1 percent of his field-goal attempts.
