Thunder, Timberwolves set for back-to-back showdowns The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to maintain their red-hot streak when they tip off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night in...

Jabari Smith Jr. - Starting vs. Utah Smith is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Jazz, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Impact Smith returned from a 22-game absence in Friday's win over the Timberwolves, posting 15 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one block across 38 minutes off the bench, and he's back in the starting lineup due to the absence of Tari Eason (lower leg injury management). Smith has started in all but one of his 34 games this season, so he's likely to remain in the starting five for good now that he's healthy and back from the left hand fracture he suffered on Jan. 1.

Rudy Gobert - Still out against OKC Gobert (back) won't play in Sunday's game versus the Thunder.
Impact Gobert's absence streak will extend to three games Sunday due to lower back spasms. Until the defensive stalwart is able to return to action, Naz Reid and Luka Garza should continue to soak up the majority of Minnesota's center minutes. Gobert's next chance to suit up is Monday's rematch with the Thunder.

Julius Randle - Not playing Sunday Randle (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Impact Randle was recently cleared to return to five-on-five activities, but he hasn't quite progressed enough in his recovery from a groin injury to return Sunday. His next chance to play will be Monday in a rematch with Oklahoma City, but it doesn't appear likely that Randle will be available for that game, either.

Mike Conley - Perfect showing from line in loss Conley (finger) tallied five points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal across 24 minutes in Friday's 121-115 loss to the Rockets.
Impact Conley was cleared to play in Minnesota's first game coming out of the All-Star break after he had missed the previous four contests due to a right index finger sprain. The veteran point guard came through with a perfect showing from the free-throw line and committed just one turnover against five assists, but his stat line was otherwise underwhelming. Conley remains secure in a starting role, but he frequently plays under 30 minutes and is maintaining a 14.9 percent usage rate on the season, rendering him little more than a low-end option in 12-team leagues.

Cody Zeller - Still away from team Zeller (not with team) is out for Saturday's game versus the Jazz.
Impact Zeller hasn't made a single appearance in the 2024-25 campaign for Houston or Atlanta this season. Until the Rockets provide an update on when the veteran big man will join the team, he can be considered out indefinitely.
