Though Potter's number wasn't called in Monday's 23-point loss to the Cavaliers, he got some garbage-time run Tuesday when the Jazz were on the right side of a blowout. Look for Potter to rejoin the Stars in the near future if Olynyk's injury doesn't prove to be a long-term concern.

Signs two-way deal with Jazz Potter and the Jazz agreed to a two-way contract on Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Impact Potter joins Cody Zeller as frontcourt depth for the Jazz after trading away Rudy Gobert. Potter played in three games for the Pistons in 2021 and averaged 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 10.3 minutes. The Wisconsin big man will have to split time between the NBA and the G League but could see solid playing time considering the Jazz's lack of depth at center.

Waived by Pistons The Pistons have waived Potter from his Exhibit 10 contract, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Impact Potter played in three games for the Pistons in 2021 and averaged 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 10.3 minutes. Although the big man just inked a deal with the Pistons in late August, he didn't stick around with the club very long. Instead, the move will likely send Potter to the team's G League affiliate.
