Jaren Jackson Jr. - Making season debut Tuesday Jackson (foot) intends to make his season debut Tuesday versus the Pelicans, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
Impact If all goes well leading up to tipoff, Jackson will make his season debut in the nationally-televised contest against the Pelicans. It'll be the forward's first matchup since undergoing offseason foot surgery in late June. With the return of Jackson looming, Santi Aldama will presumably return to his normal role off the bench.

Ja Morant - Not on injury report Morant (ankle) isn't on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact Morant was unavailable Sunday against the Wizards due to an ankle injury but will be back on the court following a one-game absence. Over his last four appearances, he's averaged 28.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 35.5 minutes per game.

Jaren Jackson Jr. - Questionable Tuesday Jackson (foot) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact Jackson hasn't yet played this year while recovering from offseason foot surgery, but he didn't have an injury designation better than doubtful on any injury reports prior to Tuesday's matchup. He certainly seems to be trending in the right direction but will likely be eased into action once he's cleared to make his season debut.

Desmond Bane - Doubtful Tuesday Bane (toe) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact Bane was sidelined Sunday against Washington, and it seems unlikely that he'll be able to return to the court against New Orleans. Assuming he's out, John Konchar should continue to see increased playing time for Memphis.
