Traded to Washington
Brogdon is being sent to the Wizards in exchange for Deni Avdija ahead of Wednesday's NBA Draft, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact
The Trail Blazers are also shipping out the 14th pick in the 2024 NBA draft in addition to a future first in order to get this deal done. Brogdon is a 31-year-old veteran on an expiring deal, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him get bought out in Washington. However, if he sticks in D.C., he would likely come off the bench behind Tyus Jones, so it's not a great spot for him in terms of fantasy hoops.

Will remain sidelined Friday
Brogdon (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Washington.
Impact
Brogdon continues to deal with right elbow tendinitis and will be unavailable for a 28th consecutive game. Since the Trail Blazers have been eliminated from the playoffs, it's certainly possible Brogdon will be held out for the remainder of the season.

ROTOWIRE
Remains out
Brogdon (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Miami.
Impact
Brogdon hasn't played since Feb. 2 due to right elbow tendinitis, but he hopes to play again this season. That outcome grows more unlikely by the day, especially considering the Trail Blazers are out of the playoff picture, but the veteran's next chance to suit up will come Monday in Miami.

ROTOWIRE
Hopeful to play again this season
Brogdon (elbow) has been ramping up his activity, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Impact
Brogdon hasn't seen any game action since Feb. 2, but head coach Chauncey Billips is optimistic about the guard's chances of returning before the 2023-24 campaign ends. The team should have another update on Brogdon's status once he's a bit closer to a return.

ROTOWIRE
Remains out for Friday
Brogdon (elbow) will not play Friday against the Clippers.
Impact
This will be the 21st game in a row on the shelf for Brogdon, and there's still no timetable for his return. He should be considered doubtful at best for Saturday's game against Denver.

ROTOWIRE
Will remain out Monday
Brogdon (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Impact
Brogdon hasn't played since Feb. 2 due to right elbow tendinitis. He's increased his workload during recent workouts and continues to trend in the right direction, but he doesn't have a clear return timetable. In Brogdon's absence, Scoot Henderson and Dalano Banton should continue to see elevated usage.

Increases workload, return date TBD
Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups said Monday that Brogdon (elbow) has increased his workload in workouts and is trending in the right direction, but the veteran guard is w...
Impact
Billups didn't go into many details regarding what exactly constitutes Brogdon increasing his workload, so it's unclear if the 31-year-old is actually ready to take part in practice or if he's restricted to individual activities at this stage. Whatever the case, Brogdon's return doesn't appear to be imminent, and the non-contending Trail Blazers don't have much incentive to rush a veteran who likely isn't part of their long-term nucleus. Scoot Henderson and Dalano Banton should continue to benefit from heightened roles in the backcourt in the absence of Brogdon, who hasn't played since March 2 due to right elbow tendinitis.

ROTOWIRE
Still dealing with elbow discomfort
Head coach Chauncey Billups said Wednesday that Brogdon is increasing his activity but is still experiencing discomfort in his right elbow, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com rep...
Impact
Brogdon will miss his 13th consecutive game Friday versus Houston due to right elbow tendinitis, and based on Billups' comments, the veteran guard still looks to be at the week-to-week stage of his recovery. Given Brogdon's status as a veteran on a non-contending team, the Trail Blazers aren't likely to rush him back into action until he's 100 percent healthy. He's difficult to justify holding in most redraft leagues at this point in the season.

ROTOWIRE
Remains out, still no timetable
Brogdon (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
Impact
Brogdon hasn't played since Feb. 2 due to right elbow tendinitis. He can still be considered week-to-week, barring another update. The Trail Blazers announced the veteran was making good progress at the end of February, but he doesn't have a clear return timeline.

Continues to make progress
The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Brogdon (elbow) is making good progress in his recovery and will continue to ramp up with an anticipated return to action.
Impact
Brogdon hasn't played since Feb. 2. His official status for Tuesday's game against the Heat should be released Monday night, but it sounds like the veteran will need a few days to regain his conditioning before returning to game action.
