Makes strong impression Nance posted 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, three assists and four steals across 29 minutes during Sunday's 116-103 win over the Hawks.

Impact Nance started the second half in place of a struggling Jonas Valanciunas, playing 29 minutes compared to Valanciunas' 19. This was Nance's second game in a row with a minutes workload in the 20s, so this is certainly a trend to watch.

Passive performance Tuesday Nance logged four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes during Tuesday's 115-92 win over the Knicks.

Impact Nance was quiet on both ends of the floor, continuing his underwhelming production of late. Despite playing at least 19 minutes in eight of the past 10 games, Nance has topped double-digits only once, adding a combined 11 steals and blocks in that time. As a player who is outside the top 200 for the season, Nance can be safely left alone outside of deeper formats.

Flirts with double-double off bench Nance chipped in eight points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 96-87 victory over the Grizzlies.

Impact Nance led all bench players in Monday's contest in rebounds while hauling in a team-high-tying rebound total and ending one board and two points shy of a double-double in a bench-leading minute total. Nance has tallied at least eight points and eight boards in five games this season, his first such outing since Jan. 23 against Utah.

Good to go Monday Nance (ankle) has been cleared to play Monday versus Toronto, Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans reports.

Impact Nance was a full participant at practice Sunday, so this is the expected outcome. He returns from a one-game absence to slot into a fully healthy Pelicans' frontcourt.

Listed as questionable Nance (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against Toronto.

Impact Nance sat out Friday's game against the Spurs due to his ankle injury but was a full participant in Sunday's practice session. While he appears to be trending in the right direction, it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up against the Raptors.

Full go at practice Nance (ankle) was a full participant during Sunday's practice, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.

Impact Nance missed Friday's one-point win over the Spurs, marking his first absence since Dec. 26. It appears he'll return to action Monday versus Toronto, but his official status for that game will be revealed Sunday night.

Out Friday Nance (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Spurs, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Nance will be sidelined for the first time since Dec. 26. His next chance to suit up will come Monday versus Toronto. In Nance's absence, Cody Zeller and Naji Marshall are candidates for increased roles.

Iffy for Friday Nance is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Spurs due to left ankle soreness.

Impact Nance is in danger of missing his first game since Dec. 26 on Friday due to a sore left ankle. If Nance is ruled out, Cody Zeller and Naji Marshall would be candidates to receive increased playing time.

Fails to score in 15 minutes Nance provided zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 15 minutes during Wednesday's 110-99 victory over the Rockets.

Impact Nance was a non-factor in the win, scoring fewer than five points for the fourth time in the past six games. While he does have a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, Nance typically struggles to play more than about 20 minutes on any given night. Outside of deeper formats, he should be viewed as nothing more than a streaming consideration.

Approaches double-double in win Nance finished with 12 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 153-124 win over the Jazz.

Impact Nance scored in double figures for the fourth time in the last six games Tuesday, and he came within two rebounds of a double-double in the blowout win. Over 11 appearances this month, he's averaged 8.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.

Top rebounder in near double-double Nance closed with 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and three steals over 26 minutes during Monday's 125-120 loss to the Mavericks.

Impact Nance led all Pelicans in rebounds while finishing as one of six players with a double-digit point total and ending two boards short of a double-double. Nance has hauled in at least eight rebounds in five games this year, pairing it with 10 or more points in two of those contests.

JANUARY 15, 2024 • ROTOWIRE

Strong two-way effort Nance ended with 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 20 minutes during Friday's 125-113 loss to Denver.

Impact Nance produced on both ends of the floor, hitting a season-high three triples en route to 13 points to go with three combined steals and blocks. Despite playing just 19.7 minutes per night over the past two weeks, Nance has been able to churn out top-100 value, putting up averages of 7.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 three-pointers. He isn't someone who needs to be rostered but his proven ability to contribute on both ends of the floor at least puts him on the 12-team radar.

Brings defensive stats in return Nance (ribs) tallied nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, five steals and one block across 25 minutes in Thursday's 112-105 win over the Jazz.

Impact Though Nance had missed the Pelicans' previous 13 games with a right rib fracture, he ended up seeing his most minutes of the season in his return and came through with what was probably his best fantasy line of the campaign. He finished a team-best plus-16 during his time on the court and ended up cutting into starting center Jonas Valanciunas' playing time (23 minutes) as a result. Nance often proved to be a better fit alongside Zion Williamson than Jonas Valanciunas on the rare occasions last season all three were available, so it wouldn't be surprising if Nance ended up working his way into a near-even timeshare at center with Valanciunas.
