Impact Powell has zero NBA experience, but he spent the 2023-24 season with the Charge in the G League. Across 16 appearances, Powell averaged 7.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He's considered a long shot to make Sacramento's final roster.

Out for Summer League Powell won't play in the Las Vegas Summer League due to a left groin strain, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Impact Powell has yet to make an NBA debut after spending the 2023-24 campaign in the G League. While there is no indication his left groin strain will keep him out for the regular season, he is currently set to enter the 2024-25 season as a free agent.

Issued release Powell was waived by Cleveland on Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Impact Powell joined the Cavs on a training camp deal back in September, but he was ultimately unable to secure a roster spot. If he fails to draw interest on the waiver wire, he'll likely report to Cleveland's G League team, the Cleveland Charge.
