Flirts with double-double
Tatum posted 16 points (6-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and a steal across 28 minutes in Sunday's 117-103 win over the Suns in Orlando.
Impact
If Tatum was worried about close contact during bubble game play, it didn't show Sunday. Tatum's well-documented aggression was on full display against the Suns, as he stood up to Deandre Ayton and left Phoenix flat-footed with his floor-stretching perimeter shooting. If Tatum picks up where he left off before the shutdown, the Celtics will be a tough out in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Struggles from field
Tatum scored three points (1-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 19 minutes during Friday's 98-84 loss to the Thunder.
Impact
Head coach Brad Stevens said he would limit the minutes of his star players, and Tatum only logged 18:18 during the loss. He struggled from the field, but that was to be expected given he hadn't played a competitive game since early March. His place as a key cog in Boston's offense ahead of the restart shouldn't be in doubt.

Limited minutes in scrimmage
Celtics coach Brad Stevens said Tuesday that he'll limit his stars' minutes during Friday's scrimmage against Oklahoma City, Tim Bontemps of ESPN reports.
Impact
Stevens didn't single out Tatum, but it's implied that the third-year wing will be among the players to see limited action in what ultimately amounts to a preseason contest. Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Gordon Hayward also figure to play reduced minutes, while Stevens noted that Kemba Walker (knee) will likely sit out Friday's scrimmage altogether.
