INJURIES

Available to play Williams (back) is available for Friday's game against Indiana, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Impact Williams made it through shootaround with no setbacks and will shake off his questionable tag to return from a one-game absence. The Thunder have a lot of injuries currently, so Williams could see a healthy workload if he's feeling up to it.

Questionable for Friday Williams (back) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Pacers, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Impact Williams missed Wednesday's win over the Bucks, but it looks like there's a chance he could get back out there for Friday's game. If he's cleared, Branden Carlson could drop out of the rotation entirely.

Ruled out for Wednesday Williams (glute) will not play Wednesday against the Bucks.
Impact Williams is dealing with a glute contusion and remains day-to-day for the Thunder. His next chance to play comes Friday against the Pacers. The Thunder will likely deploy a lot of small-ball lineups in the short term.
JANUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Iffy for Wednesday Williams is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to a left glute contusion.
Impact After leaving Monday's start against the Cavaliers, Williams remains in jeopardy of missing Wednesday's contest with the injury. Kenrich Williams started the second half Monday after Williams exited, so he could work his way into the streaming mix against Milwaukee.

NBA-leading Thunder crush Cavaliers 136-104 behind Gilgeous-Alexander's 30 points

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30 points, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 136-104 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers
JANUARY 19 • Associated Press
Won't return Monday Williams (lower back contusion) will not return to Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Impact Williams drew the start for this contest with the Thunder looking to better match up with Cleveland. However, he lasted just eight minutes with six points, three rebounds and two assists. The Thunder will likely lean on their small-ball lineups to close this game out.
JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Enters starting lineup Williams will enter the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
Impact The Thunder will roll with a bigger lineup to match up with Cleveland. Jalen Williams (hamstring) is going to miss a couple weeks and Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) is still out, so Williams does have a window to offer some streaming appeal in deeper formats.

Defending champion Thunder back on track at midpoint after beating Spurs for 1st time in 4 meetings

Strong line in win Williams had 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 23 minutes during Tuesday's 119-98 win over the Spurs.
Impact Playing in his second game since returning from a 13-game absence related to a heel issue, Williams followed up his strong effort Sunday against Miami with one of his best games of the campaign. Williams has some solid per-minute upside, and he's worth a long look as a waiver-wire add with Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) without a timetable to return.

Well-rounded line in return Williams (heel) tallied nine points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 14 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 124-112 win over the H...
Impact Back in action after a 13-game absence due to right heel bursitis, Williams was handed a small role in the Thunder rotation but filled out the stat sheet nicely during his limited time on the court. When Oklahoma City is at or near full strength, Williams will likely find it difficult to see his playing time climb much higher than what he received Sunday, but his diverse skill set makes him a worthy streaming option when the Thunder are without multiple regulars in the frontcourt. Williams owns career per-36-minute averages of 11.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.2 three-pointers, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 29 points as Thunder beat Heat 124-112 for 3rd straight win

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 29 points after a slow start and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Miami Heat 124-112
JANUARY 12 • Associated Press
No longer on report Williams (heel) is no longer on the injury report and will be available for Sunday's game against the Heat.
Impact Williams is set to return after missing the Thunder's last 13 games while dealing with right heel bursitis. He's expected to see minutes off the bench, as he's only started in three of his 25 appearances in 2025-26. He's averaging 5.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists across 18.3 minutes per game this season.
JANUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Set to miss another game Williams (heel) is out for Friday's game against Memphis, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Impact Williams continues to miss time while battling right heel bursitis. His next opportunity to suit up will arrive Sunday against the Heat, though it doesn't appear as thought he's close to a return at this point.

Listed out for Wednesday Williams is out for Wednesday's game against the Jazz due to right heel bursitis.
Impact Wednesday is slated to mark a 12th absence in a row for Williams. Without a concrete timeline for a return, it appears as though his status is more week-to-week than day-to-day. With Williams out indefinitely, Branden Carlson and Kenrich Williams should be able to hold down a spot in the Oklahoma City rotation.
