Bench role Sunday Williams will come off the bench during Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
Impact After playing two minutes as a starter during the regular-season finale against the Pelicans because of an ankle injury, Williams will be in the second unit for Oklahoma City to get the first-round series underway Sunday. The 22-year-old big man played 38 games in a reserve role during the regular season, averaging 4.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, shooting 41.6 percent from the field.

Will suit up Sunday Williams (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Game 1 against the Grizzlies on Sunday.
Impact Williams exited the regular-season finale against the Pelicans with a left ankle injury, but the injury wasn't serious. He should see decent minutes off the bench as a frontcourt option as long as he stays healthy throughout the postseason.

Triple-double in Utah Williams chipped in 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 145-111 win over the Jazz.
Impact The triple-double was the third of his career, all of which have come since March 7 of this year. Williams missed the first four games in April with an ankle injury, but the third-year center appears to be fully healthy with the playoffs on the horizon. If Chet Holmgren (back) and Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) get held out again from Sunday's regular-season finale against the Pelicans, Williams could be in line for another big performance.

Starting Friday Williams is in the Thunder's starting lineup against the Jazz on Friday, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports.

Drills four triples in return Williams (ankle) recorded 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 125-112 win over the Suns.
Impact Williams had missed three consecutive games due to a left ankle sprain before the Thunder cleared him to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Lakers, but he didn't see the floor in the team's 136-120 win. Instead, the Thunder were seemingly saving Williams for the second leg of their back-to-back set, when more minutes were available to him with the likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (shin), Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles), Luguentz Dort (knee) and Cason Wallace (shoulder) all sitting out for maintenance purposes. With the Thunder having clinched the league's top record, expect head coach Mark Daigneault to hold out multiple key rotation players or limit their minutes in the final two games of the regular season, which will likely open up plenty of playing time for Williams. The second-year big man has showcased a diverse, fantasy-friendly skill set with per-36-minute averages of 12.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2.8 three-pointers, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals per game on the season.

Impact After sitting out Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Williams is available for the second leg of this back-to-back set. With Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) sidelined Wednesday, Williams could see a healthy workload against the Suns.
