Returning to Detroit
Green and the Pistons agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Impact
Green played all 82 regular-season games for the Pistons in 2025-26, averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17.6 minutes while shooting 38.1 percent from beyond the arc. He'll again provide the Pistons with some quality depth on the wings.

ROTOWIRE
Left out of rotation in Game 5
Green (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Pistons' 117-113 overtime loss to the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Impact
After playing in all 82 games during the regular season as well as the Pistons' first 11 games of the playoffs, Green failed to see the court for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign during Game 5. Green's prospects for rejoining the Detroit rotation likely won't get any better moving forward, as the Pistons were without starting wing Duncan Robinson (back) for Game 5 but could get him back for Friday's Game 6.

Scores two points in win

Impact
Green actually led the second unit in minutes played as the Pistons seem content to lean on the veteran. Meanwhile, Caris LeVert and Ronald Holland combined to see just 21 minutes off the bench.

Strong two-way effort
Green totaled 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three steals across 27 minutes during Monday's 123-107 loss to Orlando.
Impact
Green rattled off his best performance in quite some time, playing an elevated role as Detroit went with an understrength lineup. While this was a great start to the week for anyone who grabbed Green, it's clear that his value is tied to the availability of others around him.

Reverts back to depth role
Green provided two points (1-2 FG) and one rebound over six minutes during Saturday's 116-93 victory over Philadelphia.
Impact
Green logged just six minutes, the second time he has done so in the past two games. Despite having a couple of positive moments throughout the season, Green has been mostly a non-factor when it comes to fantasy. In 78 appearances, he has averaged just 6.8 points, 1.2 steals and 1.1 three-pointers, leaving him well outside the top 200 in standard formats.

Not starting vs. Toronto
Green won't start Tuesday's game against Toronto.
Impact
Green got the spot start in the front end of this back-to-back set, but he will retreat to the second unit Tuesday with Tobias Harris (hip) returning to the lineup. Green has averaged 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds across 16.8 minutes per contest over his last five outings off the bench.

Drains career-high five treys
Green finished with 19 points (6-12 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals across 30 minutes during Monday's 114-110 overtime loss to Oklahoma City.
Impact
Making his first start since March 13, Green set a new career high in made three-pointers. The veteran forward has drained multiple treys in three straight games and five of the last 11, averaging 7.9 points, 2.5 boards, 1.7 threes, 1.3 steals and 0.9 assists in 16.3 minutes during that span.

Stepping into starting five
Green is starting Monday's game against the Thunder.
Impact
Green is set for his second start of March while Duncan Robinson (hip) and Tobias Harris (hip) tend to their respective injuries. Green has struggled to produce off the bench, as he's averaging 5.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in his last eight outings, all as a reserve.

Available Thursday
Green (ankle) is available for Thursday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact
The veteran guard is available for the second part of this back-to-back set, shedding a probable tag. Over his last six appearances, Green has averaged 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 12.5 minutes per game.

Likely to play Thursday
Green (ankle) is probable for Thursday's game against the Pelicans.
Impact
The veteran guard is likely to be available for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Over his last six contests, Green has averaged 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 12.5 minutes per game but could see an uptick in playing time if Tobias Harris (hip) sits out Thursday.

ROTOWIRE
Will play Wednesday
Green (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Impact
Green popped up on Tuesday's injury report due to a left ankle sprain, but the veteran guard has been given the green to play against Atlanta on Wednesday. He has averaged 7.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 threes and 1.2 steals over 15.8 minutes across 13 games (one start) since March 1.

ROTOWIRE
Iffy to face Atlanta
Green (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Impact
Green is in danger of missing his first game of the season due to a left ankle sprain. If the veteran forward is ruled out, there would be more minutes available for guys like Kevin Huerter, Caris LeVert and Ronald Holland, especially if Marcus Sasser (hip) is downgraded from doubtful to out.

ROTOWIRE
Only five minutes in win
Green finished Tuesday's 130-117 victory over Washington with three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and two rebounds in five minutes.
Impact
Green was a non-factor in the win, playing just five minutes off the bench. With Ausar Thompson now back in the lineup, Green's role is likely to be largely insignificant when it comes to fantasy production. At best, he can be utilized for streaming purposes for those who are desperate for steals.

ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Sunday
Green is not in the Pistons' starting lineup against the Raptors on Sunday.
Impact
Green started in Friday's win against the Grizzlies, finishing with six points, two assists, one rebound, three steals and one block over 21 minutes. The veteran wing will revert to a bench role Sunday due to the return of Tobias Harris (hip).

•
ROTOWIRE
Records three steals
Green supplied six points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), one rebound, two assists, one block and three steals in 21 minutes during Friday's 126-110 victory over the Grizzlies.
Impact
Green moved into the starting lineup, replacing Tobias Harris, who was ruled out with a hip injury. As he has done for much of the season, Green made the most of his time on the floor, particularly on the defensive end, where he recorded three steals for the third straight game. Both Harris and Ausar Thompson (ankle) could return as soon as Sunday, meaning Green should be looked at for streaming purposes, and nothing more.
MARCH 14
•
ROTOWIRE
Starting sans Harris
Green will start Friday's game against Memphis.
Impact
With Tobias Harris (hip) unavailable for the second leg of this back-to-back set, Green will enter the starting five for the first time since Jan. 10. As a starter this season (four games), the veteran forward has averaged 12.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 combined steals-plus-blocks and 1.5 assists in 35.0 minutes per contest.
MARCH 13
•
ROTOWIRE
Fares well off bench
Green totaled 17 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and three steals in 19 minutes during Thursday's 131-109 victory over Philadelphia.
Impact
Green has been a key player for the second unit in Detroit this season, but he's still a bit too volatile to trust outside of very deep fantasy formats when the team is close to full strength. Across 65 appearances, he holds averages of 7.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 18.1 minutes per game.
