Goran Dragic - Clears protocols, ready for play-in Dragic has cleared COVID-19 health and safety protocols Monday and will be available for Tuesday's play-in game against the Cavaliers, Marc Spears of ESPN reports.
Impact Just minutes earlier, the Nets listed Dragic as out on their official injury report after he was unable to practice Monday while remaining in the protocols. Head coach Steve Nash said earlier Monday that he wasn't optimistic that Dragic would be cleared in time to play Tuesday, but the veteran guard has apparently tested out of protocols more quickly than anticipated. While he may be behind a bit conditioning-wise, Dragic should return to the rotation and play a key role Tuesday as the Nets look to claim the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Coach Steve Nash acknowledged that Dragic testing out of protocols prior to Tuesday night is a possibility, but Friedell relays that Nash did not sound optimistic about the chances to have the veteran in uniform. While Dragic is technically listed as out on the Nets' official injury report, the more accurate update is that he's teetering somewhere between out and doubtful as of Monday afternoon.
