Tre Jones - Logs four steals in Friday's loss Jones registered 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and four steals in 20 minutes during Friday's 125-111 loss to the Celtics.
Impact Jones led the Bulls' bench in scoring Friday, and he also contributed defensively with four of Chicago's six steals. Jones has scored in double digits in five of the first six games of the regular season, but he's averaging only 18.2 minutes per contest off the bench after averaging 27.0 minutes per game across 65 regular-season contests (41 starts) during the 2025-26 campaign. He'll continue to be limited to a rotational role unless one of Josh Giddey or Norman Powell were to miss time.

Noa Essengue - Chips in 10 points vs. Boston Essengue chipped in 10 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and four rebounds across 16 minutes during Friday's 125-111 loss to the Celtics.
Impact Essengue reached double-digit points for the first time this season, with nine of his points coming in just three minutes of playing time in the fourth quarter. The second-year pro is averaging 14.0 minutes off the bench this season, but he's not worth streaming even in the deepest of fantasy leagues unless more opportunities were to open up for him.

Josh Giddey - Muted line in loss Giddey totaled 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and five assists across 25 minutes during Friday's 125-111 loss to the Celtics.
Impact Giddey's 13 points were his most in a game so far this regular season, but he hasn't been able to stuff the stat sheet like he did in each of the two prior seasons. Part of his struggles may be due to a lingering left wrist injury from training camp, although he hasn't shown up on the Bulls' injury report as of late. Giddey's slow start to the season is of some concern, and he'll continue to face tough competition as the Bulls travel to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Monday.

Jalen Smith - Grabs 12 boards in loss Smith ended Friday's 125-111 loss to the Celtics with five points (2-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 27 minutes.
Impact Smith was the only player who finished Friday's game with double-digit rebounds, although it was the second time in three games that he failed to score in double digits. The seventh-year center is averaging 12.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks over 24.2 minutes per game to open the regular season. He'll continue to operate in a starting role for as long as Nic Claxton (hamstring) is out of action.

Derrick White - Quiet against Chicago White finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Friday's 125-111 win over the Bulls.
Impact It was the second time in three games that White failed to score in double digits while attempting less than 10 field goals, but he did contribute defensively with two steals. White's production is streaky, and even with Jaylen Brown (knee) now in Philadelphia, the former is still serving in a complementary role to Jayson Tatum, Paul George and even Payton Pritchard off the bench.
