Cam Spencer - To be re-evaluated in three weeks The Grizzlies announced Friday that Spencer (thumb) will be re-evaluated in three weeks.

Impact After suffering a fractured left thumb in Thursday's practice with the G League's Memphis Hustle, Spencer will get surgery and is facing an extended absence, but he's expected to make a full recovery. Amid the rookie second-rounder's absence, fantasy managers can look for Luke Kennard and Scotty Pippen to serve as the Grizzlies' first guards off the bench going forward.

Marcus Smart - Considered week-to-week Smart (finger) is progressing well in his rehabilitation and is now considered week-to-week.

Impact Smart was diagnosed with a partial tear of the proximal extensor hood of his right index finger, an injury that he sustained Dec. 21 against Atlanta. On the bright side, the veteran guard is progressing toward a return to game action, though the week-to-week designation suggests that he may require a bit more of a ramp-up process. Smart is averaging 9.2 points, 3.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 21.2 minutes per game over 18 regular-season appearances thus far.

Tari Eason - Not expected to play Saturday Eason (lower leg) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Impact Eason is expected to miss his 12th consecutive contest while the club manages his left lower leg injury. Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate should continue absorbing extra minutes off the bench if Eason is sidelined.

Impact With Tari Eason (lower leg) and Jabari Smith (hand) sidelined, Tate has carved out a role off the bench, playing double-digit minutes in nine of Houston's last 10 games. However, during that stretch, the veteran forward has scored in double figures only twice, including his season-high 12 points Thursday.

Zyon Pullin - Joining Memphis on two-way pact Pullin signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Grizzlies on Friday, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

Impact The undrafted rookie out of Florida will join the Grizzlies after having been waived by the Heat following training camp. The 23-year-old had delivered a stellar G League regular-season campaign for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in six outings, during which he had averaged 24.8 points, 7.5 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 42.4 percent from downtown. Pullin will likely spend the majority of his time with the G League's Memphis Hustle, though he could carve out a significant role in the backcourt if injuries arise.

Luke Kennard - Tallies 11 points off bench Kennard chipped in 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and two assists over 25 minutes during Thursday's 119-115 loss to the Rockets.

Impact Kennard did most of his damage Thursday from beyond the arc, connecting on three threes for a second straight game and the sixth time over his last seven outings. Over that span, he has averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds across 26.0 minutes per game while shooting 46.7 percent from three on 6.4 3PA/G.
