She already suffered a right ankle injury late in the preseason, and due to the team's lack of depth in the backcourt, the Fever should be extremely cautious with Cunningham. Her next chance to suit up will come against the Mystics on Tuesday.

Impact Colson appeared to suffer the injury while battling Jacy Sheldon for a loose ball. Colson -- who is filling in a bigger role in the Fever's backcourt due to the absence of Caitlin Clark (quadriceps) -- was able to walk to the bench under her own power before going back to the locker room. Sophie Cunningham would stand to see an uptick in playing time for as long as Colson is out of the game.
