Keita Bates-Diop - Out again Monday Bates-Diop (illness) will not take the floor Monday against the Nets, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact Bates-Diop looks set for his second consecutive absence while battling an illness. His next opportunity to take the floor arrives Wednesday against the Nets, but he hasn't played a ton of minutes in his recent appearances for various reasons.

Blake Wesley - Heading back to G League The Spurs have assigned Wesley to the G League, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact Wesley heads back to Austin after struggling to see consistent minutes at the NBA level. He hasn't played for San Antonio since Oct. 30, but he averaged 14.7 points per game for Austin in the G League Showcase and scored 21 points in his lone regular-season appearance for the G League club thus far.

Devin Vassell - Questionable Monday Vassell (knee) is considered questionable for Monday's game versus the Nets, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact Vassell's questionable designation is an upgrade from the previous injury report when he was initially tabbed as doubtful and ultimately sat out his second consecutive tilt. It will be worth monitoring his status as Monday's opening tip nears, and Vassell seems likely to join the starting five if available.

JaVale McGee - Clear of injury report McGee (illness) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Rockets.
Impact McGee should provide additional frontcourt depth for the Mavericks on Monday but doesn't figure to log more than a handful of minutes. He's played no more than six minutes in any of his last three appearances.

NBA Debate: Is Luka Dončić the new MVP front-runner?
Keldon Johnson - Scores 30 points again Johnson accumulated 30 points (10-19 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and four rebounds over 36 minutes during Saturday's 126-125 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Aside from scoring 30 points in back-to-back games, Johnson has been remarkably consistent with his scoring figures after putting up 15 or more points in 15 games in a row. Johnson has had some poor shooting performances in that stretch, but overall, his fantasy numbers have been solid enough to say he's firmly entrenched as the Spurs' main offensive threat. Johnson averaged 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in December.

Jeremy Sochan - Puts up 20 points Sochan registered 20 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 126-125 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Sochan has gained league-wide notoriety after shooting one-handed free throws, but he's also playing well overall and is making an impact as a fantasy asset while settling as a starter for a struggling Spurs team. Sochan has scored in double digits in five of his last six starts while grabbing at least five boards in those outings. He ended December with averages of 11.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 25.6 minutes per game.
