Impact Thomas took charge in the loss, scoring a game-high 46 points including 6-of-8 from the three-point line. As we saw earlier in the season, Thomas is certainly not afraid to let his scoring do the talking. The Nets were without their entire starting five, allowing Thomas to be the lead man on offense. Unfortunately, this is probably going to be his final opportunity to flaunt his stuff, given the team will now head into the postseason where the 76ers will be waiting.

Impact With Seth Curry (personal) and Royce O'Neale (rest) out, Thomas saw an increased role and made the most of his opportunity. The second-year guard is certainly capable of explosive offensive outings, but his role is too sporadic to be trusted on a daily basis. When he's played over 20 minutes this season (24 games), Thomas has averaged 19.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 27.1 minutes with 46/40/88 shooting splits.

Based on what we have seen when the team is healthy, Thomas is going to be on the outside looking in when it comes to playing time. At this point, he is nothing more than a streaming consideration if and when the team opts to rest its starters.
