INJURIES

Struggles again Saturday Clarke closed Saturday's 124-107 win over the 76ers with four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 FT), one rebound, one block and one steal across 13 minutes.
Impact Clarke has been a non-factor thus far this season, typically used sparingly off the bench as a backup to both Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey. He has scored double-digits only once, failing to play more than 20 minutes in any of the seven games. At this point, he would need an injury ahead of him to afford him with any sort of significant opportunity.

Logs two steals Saturday Clarke finished Saturday's 124-111 victory over the Magic with five points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, two steals and one assist across 18 minutes.
Impact The 28-year-old tied Marcus Smart, Desmond Bane and Scotty Pippen for the team high in steals while racking up two across 18 minutes. Clarke has played double-digit minutes off the bench every game thus far, though he shouldn't be considered as an option in fantasy formats unless injury concerns arise for the Grizzlies.
OCTOBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Coming off bench in finale Clarke will play a reserve role in Friday's preseason finale versus the Heat.
Impact Clarke will come off the bench in favor of rookie Zach Edey. The latter is expected to start once the regular season tips off. As a result, Clarke, who returned late last season after recovering from an Achilles injury, figures to be the top depth center option.
OCTOBER 18, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gets starting nod Clarke will start Monday's game against the Pacers, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
Impact Clarke will knock Zach Edey out of the starting lineup. The veteran Clarke missed most of last season due to a knee injury but was a key part of Memphis' frontcourt rotation during his first four years in the league.
OCTOBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available Saturday Clarke (knee) is available for Saturday's preseason matchup against the Bulls, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
Impact Clarke was held out of Thursday's game against the Hornets due to knee soreness; however, this was likely only a precautionary measure. The 28-year-old was limited to only six regular-season appearances last season, during which he sustained an Achilles injury.
OCTOBER 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out with knee soreness Clarke won't play Thursday against the Hornets due to knee soreness, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Impact Clarke is likely being held out as a precaution given that Thursday night is only an exhibition. HIs next chance to suit up will arrive Saturday in Chicago.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Leads bench with 17 points Clarke tallied 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-5 FT), four assists, one rebound, one block and one steal across 21 minutes in Monday's 121-116 preseason win over the Mavericks.
Impact Clarke was the first big man off the bench for the Grizzlies on Monday, and he was one of three reserve players to play 20-plus minutes during the preseason opener. Clarke returned from an Achilles injury late during the 2023-24 regular season, and he missed the final three games of the campaign due to a hand contusion. The 2019 first-round pick will use the preseason to establish a consistent frontcourt reserve role behind Jaren Jackson (hamstring) and rookie first-rounder Zach Edey.

100 percent for camp Clarke (hand) has been a full participant at training camp this week, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Impact Clarke made his 2023-24 season debut on March 27 after recovering from an Achilles injury, but later missed the season finale with a hand contusion. That was a minor issue, however, and there's been no reported restrictions for Clarke. With Jaren Jackson (hamstring) injured to start camp, Clarke has a big opportunity during the preseason.

Out for season finale Sunday Clarke (hand) is out for Sunday's game against the Nuggets.
Impact Clarke spent most of the season recovering from an Achilles injury, and while he made his season debut on March 27, he won't play in the final game of the campaign due to a contusion. The Grizzlies won't risk Clarke in a meaningless game, as the team has been out of playoff contention for quite some time now. Clarke ends the 2023-24 season with averages of 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks across 22.3 minutes per game in six appearances (one start).
APRIL 13, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for Friday Clarke has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Lakers due to a right hand contusion.
Impact Clarke was unavailable Wednesday against the Cavaliers due to left Achilles injury management, and he'll sit out Friday due to a hand issue. The Grizzlies continue to deal with multiple absences late in the year, and Clarke's final chance to return during the regular season will be Sunday against the Nuggets.
APRIL 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Resting Wednesday Clarke won't play Wednesday against the Cavaliers due to left Achilles injury management, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Impact Since making his season debut March 27 following a 12-plus-month recovery from surgery to repair a torn Achilles' tendon, Clarke has appeared in six of the Grizzlies' last seven games, averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals in 22.3 minutes. His lone absence during that stretch came in the front end of a back-to-back set, and he'll be in street clothes Wednesday after playing 27 minutes while making his first start of the season in Tuesday's 102-87 loss to the Spurs. With Clarke and Jaren Jackson (quadricep) sidelined Wednesday, among several others, the Grizzlies will likely be forced to rely heavily on Trey Jemison, Jack White, Timmy Allen and Lamar Stevens (groin) to fill minutes in the frontcourt.
APRIL 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gets starting nod Clarke is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Spurs.
Impact Clarke will replace Maozinha Pereira (contract expired) in the starting five Tuesday. Clarke has made five appearances since returning from a torn Achilles and is averaging 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks in 21.4 minutes.
APRIL 9, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available for Saturday Clarke (rest) is available for Saturday's game against the 76ers, according to Memphis reporter KJ Wright.
Impact Clarke was held out for rest Friday against the Pistons, but he's officially back in action Saturday. The forward is averaging 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 blocks through four games.
APRIL 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Considered questionable Clark is considered questionable for Saturday's matchup with the 76ers due to left Achilles maintenance.
Impact Clarke made his season debut on March 27 and subsequently played four-straight games. He sat out Memphis' previous game for rest purposes but is in danger of missing his second straight, as the Grizzlies could opt to again err on the side of caution. More clarity on his status should come closer to tipoff.
APRIL 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play Friday Clarke (rest) won't suit up for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Impact Friday's game will be the first of a back-to-back set, so Clarke will take the night off as he continues to work himself back from the Achilles injury. With Clarke unavailable, expect more minutes for Jake LaRavia and Lamar Stevens, with LaRavia being the more attractive target between the two.
APRIL 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Decent stat line in bench cameo Clarke registered 13 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 20 minutes during Saturday's 118-88 loss to the Magic.
Impact This was Clarke's second appearance of the season, as he's making his way back from an Achilles injury suffered in March last year, and while he might look a bit rusty due to the fact he spent almost an entire year without playing in The Association, the early signs have been quite encouraging. Clarke has scored in double digits in his two outings so far, shooting a combined 9-for-16 from the field while racking up nine rebounds, four assists and two steals across 41 total minutes.
MARCH 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Plays 21 minutes in season debut Clarke closed Wednesday's 136-124 loss to the Lakers with six points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes.
Impact Clarke tore his Achilles in early March last season and needed over a year to recover before he was able to return to NBA action. The Gonzaga product was able to give Memphis 21 minutes off the bench in his season debut, and he recorded a team-best plus-15 point differential while he was on the court. Given his long layoff, Clarke doesn't figure to see minutes much higher than the amount he played Wednesday, especially with the Grizzlies out of playoff contention.
MARCH 28, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available to make season debut Clarke (Achilles) is available for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Impact Clarke is nearly 13 months removed from tearing his Achilles and has officially gotten the green light to suit up for the first time this season. He figures to be monitored closely and will likely handle a small role off the bench. Last season, Clarke averaged 10.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals-plus-blocks in 19.5 minutes per game across 56 appearances (eight starts).
MARCH 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Upgraded to questionable Clarke (Achilles) is questionable to play Wednesday versus the Lakers, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Impact Clarke ascending to questionable is an extremely interesting development with 10 games remaining on the schedule. Clarke began contact work at the beginning of March and has been ramping up at practice with the Grizzlies' G League affiliate, with April 3 set to represent 13 months of recovery after tearing his Achilles. An abundance of caution will be exercised with the 27-year-old, but building continuity with Memphis' young cast of contributors could have merit. Clarke's status will need to be monitored in advance of Wednesday's contest.
