Hugo González - Another productive effort Gonzalez finished with 21 points (6-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 20 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime win over Philadelph...

Impact Gonzalez had another strong showing to cap off a productive preseason. The 20-year-old finished his rookie campaign in 2025-26 by averaging 3.9 points and 3.3 rebounds over 14.6 minutes per contest in 74 regular-season appearances. With Jaylen Brown now in Philadelphia, others will have an opportunity to step up. While Gonzalez might not start, at least not consistently, he is a player to watch throughout the 2026-27 season.

Joel Embiid - Strong end to preseason Friday Embiid finished with 27 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-13 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block over 29 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime loss to Bo...

Impact Embiid didn't play when these two clubs met Saturday but was on the floor for the rematch. He had four turnovers, though he was still the most productive starter overall for Philadelphia on Friday night. The 2023 MVP finished the 2025-26 campaign by averaging 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals across 31.6 minutes per contest. However, he was limited to 38 regular-season games. Embiid should still be considered one of the top players in the NBA, but his health will be a significant concern for the rest of his career.

Dominick Barlow - Inactive Friday Barlow (back) didn't play in Friday's 125-120 preseason loss to Boston in overtime.

Impact Barlow missed the entire preseason with a back injury. He can be considered questionable for Tuesday's regular-season opener against the Knicks until further notice.

Tacko Fall - Doesn't play Friday Fall (hip) didn't play in Friday's 125-120 preseason loss to the Celtics in overtime.

Impact Fall remained on the inactive list due to a left hip strain. He's signed to an Exhibit 10 contract and is in jeopardy of being waived before the team's regular-season opener versus New York on Tuesday.

Dean Wade - Injures ankle Friday Wade had zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two assists and one steal over 13 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason loss to the Celtics.

Impact Wade suffered an ankle injury in the first half, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports. Head coach Nick Nurse wasn't overly concerned but chose to keep him off the floor for the remainder of the contest. The 29-year-old, who signed with the 76ers in the offseason, should at least be considered questionable ahead of the Opening Night meeting with the Knicks. If Wade can't suit up, Anfernee Simons and Dominick Barlow would presumably each receive a few more minutes.
