Wins British Grand Prix Norris has won in front of his home crowd at the British Grand Prix, the McLaren man leading from team mate Oscar Piastri while Kick Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg claimed a long-awaited...
Impact Wet conditions at the start would make for a lively grand prix on Sunday at Silverstone. Early race spins and rain returning at lap 11 would make this a strategy nightmare. However, Norris would manage the race well and get around a spinning Max Verstappen during a lap 20 restart. Oscar Piastri would lose the lead due to a 10-second penalty and that would promote Norris into the top spot on lap 44. He would manage the gap back to Piastri the rest of the way and master the challenging conditions to pick up the win. It was Norris' fourth victory of the season an first win at Silverstone.

Tops Practice 2 Norris finished fastest in Free Practice 2 for the British Grand Prix, the McLaren driver besting the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, Formula1.com reports.
Impact The Ferraris have shown great speed through both practices Friday at Silverstone. However, it would be Norris who would best them and rise to the top of FP2 at the British road course. He would log a lap of 1:25.816 to beat out Leclerc by two-tenths and Hamilton by three-tenths. McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, would be a close P4 in this practice. Norris looks like a strong contender to win Sunday's British Grand Prix.

Impact Norris would get away well at the lights out and his teammate Oscar Piastri would vault Charles Leclerc for second-place. The two McLarens would get away from the field and battle hotly for the lead in the early laps. Norris and Piastri had the clear pace and would separate themselves from the rest. Norris would do a good job keeping Piastri out of DRS range in the closing laps and would secure the win by just over 2.5-seconds. It was his third victory of the season.

Impact The McLarens would really pick up the pace over their first practice at the Red Bull Ring. As teams shifted from information gathering to mock qualifying runs, lap times would drop. Norris would finally post a circuit of 1:04.580 which would be just over one-tenth clear of Piastri for tops in the session. The encouraging performance gives Norris some hope that he can rebound from his disastrous Canadian GP performance to challenge for the win Sunday in Spielberg.

Disappointing Crash in Canada Norris crashed and finished 18th in the Canadian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The day would start well enough for Norris as he would come from P7 on the starting grid to work his way forward. The McLaren star would run a very long opening stint to help gain track position. Norris would draw close to Oscar Piastri in the closing laps of this grand prix. The two teammates would battle for fourth-place with Norris making contact with the rear of Piastri's car. Norris would crash as a result and his day would be finished early at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. He will look to rebound next round out at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Runner-up Finish in Barcelona Norris finished second in the Spanish Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday afternoon.
Impact The McLaren star would initially get jumped at the lights out and cede second-place to Max Verstappen. However, Norris' better pace and better tyre strategy would eventually catch him up to the Red Bull Racing star and would overtake him for P2 by opening pit stops. Norris would settle in there and manage the gap back to Verstappen the rest of the way. By lap 66 and the checkered flag he would collect the impressive runner-up finish and his eighth podium of the season.

Norris would retake the lead and cash-in on his first-ever Monaco victory by 3-seconds over Charles Leclerc.
