Makes Daytona 500 Field
Grala finished 18th in the Bluegreen Vacations Duel 1 NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway Thursday night.
Impact
The Money Racing Team driver made enough moves and put the other open qualifying drivers in his rear view mirror. Grala would finish two laps down to the leaders, but by virtue of his finish he qualifies for the field of the Daytona 500. This will be his second-career start in the Great American Race.

Injured Foot
Grala (foot) tweeted Saturday night that he is on crutches with a temporary cast on his left foot following and accident in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dayton...
Impact
The big crash on lap 158 rolled up Grala in the carnage. He took a pretty big hit in the melee and has injured his foot. While he didn't go into specifics in his tweet, Grala did indicate that the injury was serious enough to require a temporary cast. He's not expected to be sidelined long and it sounds like Grala plans to race again at Talladega in a few weeks.
