Impact Alonso had a strong start to the weekend, qualifying 10th for the sprint race. However, the potential for points quickly ended due to a collision with Liam Lawson, which concluded with Alonso in the wall. He couldn't find the same form in the grand prix and was never in contention for points. His Aston Martin is off the pace even amongst the midfield, so he'll either need to rely on upgrades to the car or fortuitous circumstances to get inside the top 10 during a race weekend.
