Pole for Second Pocono Race
Buescher will start from the pole for the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 at Pocono Raceway Sunday afternoon.
Impact
NASCAR inverted the Top 20 finishers from Saturday's 325-mile first race of the Pocono doubleheader. With his 20th-place finish, Buescher will get to start from the pole position for Sunday's 350-mile follow up race. The Roush Fenway Racing driver is a former winner at Pocono Raceway, and he'll take full advantage of the great starting track position Sunday afternoon.

Starting from rear Sunday
Buescher is starting from the rear in Sunday's Cup Series race at COTA due to unapproved adjustments with his No. 17 Ford, Jim Utter of Motorsport.com reports.
Impact
Nearly a quarter of the field is heading to the rear for unapproved adjustments as Buescher is one of nine drivers to be penalized. He qualified for the 28th position and was already in an undesirable starting spot, so him starting in the rear shouldn't make a major difference on where he would've ended up.

Fades after Strong Performance
Buescher was strong early, but faded to finish 19th in the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Impact
The big surprise of the day was how strong the No. 17 Ford was in this 400-mile battle. Buescher jumped to the lead by lap 53 and would lead a career-high of 57 laps over the first two stages. The Roush Fenway Racing veteran looked tabbed for a Top-5 finish most of the event. However, as the sun set and the track cooled, so would Buescher's hot rod. By the checkered flag he would fade all the way to 19th-place on the cool race track. It was a great glimpse of this driver and team's potential on intermediate ovals, but they'll need to work on the mid-race adjustments so they can close better in their next opportunity.
